XMR have 600H/s so for AEON around 1200H/s, probably more.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but has the Aeon devs addressed the Monero 2023 "exit scam"?

I believe Aeon is a fork of Monero, so curious if they have addressed this in the long term.

Heya,

Its an insider joke amongst old Monero HODLer that fluffy might exit scam on us. Its not something you have to take serious, its just a joke:)

It was created as sarcastic response to monero fudders who say, fluffy and monero is a scam.

Poolele.com Call to arms for miners (not! minors)
________________________
New AEON Pool Specs
- Location: Europe - Germany
- Pool fee*: 0%
- AEON version: Phoenix (0.9.14.0)
- Pool address: mine.aeonpool.poolele.com
- Pool ports: 3333,5555,7777
________________________
About
Poolele.com was created by a bunch of devs, in order to consolidate mining hustles and combine hashrates.
It is based on the Cryptonote-Universal-Pool software forked and forked and forked again, by billaue2 (thanks, dude).
Since it's creation (10 days ago) we overcame major obstacles like the inability to wake up properly without coffee, and writing comprehensible code with /*comments*/.
***Grace period of AEON pool will last until the end of November, then it will be recalculated to something really low (like Weinstein's excuses for groping girls).***
- No hidden fees and "lost" hashrate.
- No gambling with your privacy and earns
- No content on our website, but we thought you'd appreciate a GUI AEON wallet more, so we do that first
- No way I'm wearing that!

Additionally im not a fan of lowering the donation fee like that:/

The original dev asked formally the whole monero community if it would be ok to increase it to 2% to cover further developments and the community accepted it.  We shouldnt be stingy on stuff like that in my opinion.
This is for AEON, their XMR pool won't work with that.
BTW you can always send XMR to their wallets, not AEON.

For the Nvidia there is almost nothing to change, only better options for build with CUDA 9. There are no better XMR-STAK sources like for the AMD version. And the variables you've changed are good.

Go away, MinerGate.

Let me correct myself that the use of MinerGate's pool as the dev donation pool server doesn't mean at all that Mattthev is from MinerGate; one can just enter the login info to the pool server to receive the dev donation.

Nevertheless, I'm overall not impressed by the work.

Hi guys,
I've made guide for AEON mining as I did it for Monero before.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/guideamdnvidiacpuhow-to-mine-aeon-miners-downloads-2294444
And also we've port for you AEON-STAK miners from latest XMR-STAK sources and lowered fee to 1%. Download links in the thread.

https://github.com/IndeedMiners/aeon-stak-amd/releases
https://github.com/IndeedMiners/aeon-stak-cpu/releases
https://github.com/IndeedMiners/aeon-stak-nvidia/releases

These releases only change the donation address to MinerGate.

https://github.com/IndeedMiners/aeon-stak-nvidia/commit/95d3f477d9e926be166077ea9d8570390eadcaa7#diff-5d93b8234e431ff7ae617b76241f9c5dR357

Code:
-		const char* dev_pool_addr = jconf::inst()->GetTlsSetting() ? "donate-aeon.mooo.com:8080" : "donate-aeon.mooo.com:8080";
 + const char* dev_pool_addr = jconf::inst()->GetTlsSetting() ? "aeon.pool.minergate.com:45690" : "aeon.pool.minergate.com:45690";

Would be great if you support smaller pools for decentralizing the network

I've been mining at aeon.[Suspicious link removed] until something wrong happened, the pool was frozen for days, then it was reset.
I think I've lost some money with that reset so until I find another good low diff pool I mine another coin that looks profitable.
Quite shame, since I like AEON. However, I'm done with "smaller pools".

aeonpools.net

Theres a list of pools:)

Thanks for the list, it'll make my my research quicker, maybe I get back to AEON sooner than I first thought.
Join mine Cheesy DurinsMine.com here to stay!

Hi to all fellow aeon miners,
if I'm not asking too much, someone could upload an updated blockchain.bin file?
Or post a link here or pm it to me where i can download an updated file?
Is taking me days to sync it properly.
Thanks in advance.

Tell me your wallet address. I'll check if there are any more coins on the pool. The pool was used to replace the equipment with a more powerful one. Mining was not available 30 minutes.
Each pool has a support address. You can always write in support and you will be answered.

Anybody can provide a detail about solomining in Windows 7

There are two options:

The first option is simple and easy, but cannot benefit from massive performance improvements offered by dedicated CPU/GPU miners (e.g. XMRig, Stak-CPU/AMD/NVIDIA, ccminer). The second option is highly recommended (what I do), but I'm not sure if you can easily build aeon-stratum for Windows, because currently Aeon is made to build on Visual Studio instead of MSYS as in Monero. If you have OSX or Linux computer somewhere, you could run the pool there and let it connect to the daemon running on that same computer, or on your Windows 7 computer. Another option is to set up a Linux virtual machine on your Windows 7 computer and run the pool inside the VM which connects to your host Windows 7.
