Hi, check the previous page for 4 nodes that defaced posted. 3 of those are working for me. I'm looking at setting up another node, or maybe even a pool - but I'll need some time first then help with that one  Undecided

Hey thanks for letting me know about the extra nodes in the previous page. I was just using the defaults and only had 1 connection to the AIDEN network at most. I will see if I could help with this by trying to use Raspberry Pi 2 as nodes (if possible). Also, I have some old laptops lying around so they could be put to good use.  Smiley

I couldn't sync also. No nodes are active from here(Dubai).
Somebody should make a pool at least.

Yes, something like that must be happening, maybe the price increase drew them in Wink.

I'm back up and running now, 'but' mining over 80% with my 2 rigs alone.

Come back everyone! There's coins to be had here! Grin

How you mine this coin? where is the pool?

Hi, I'm solo mining, not pool. I had dirtydiggers as a failover, but it looks like defaced has taken it down. I'm not sure if there are any others still running.

Could you upload all blockchains somewhere? What is your active nodes?

BTW, where do you get your chain and difficulty info from, your mining logs?

SGminer shows the actual and last 5-6 blocks difficulty, and it can log too. Btw. today 2 AM CET the difficulty also went to 11M from 29k, and the blockchain has stopped. Before this the block time was very low, 1-2 seconds. Imho someone stressed/attacked the AIDEN with an extreme mining power (maybe mining farm?) and the system's KGW responsed with these high difficulties.

Hi Zorro23hu, I'm not an expert but I don't think that is what's going on. Last week when the same thing happened, there was a sudden flood of 'stuck' transactions once the chain resumed. BTW, where do you get your chain and difficulty info from, your mining logs?

Anyone here anymore Huh Huh Huh

Morning, thanks Defaced, that's very welcome Smiley. The chain isn't syncing again, it stopped about 4 hours ago. Can someone explain why is this happening? I've got 3 connected nodes, so that's not the issue.  Huh

Hi!

There isn't syncing problem. Today morning (6:50 AM CET) lot of wallets and miners dropped from blockchain, however the difficulty raised up to 5M from 7k. There need highest power and time to find the next block. I remember, there was a same situation with the another altcoin mining in 2015 when took the next block finding for 2 days... Don't worry, be mining and relax with some beer or something  Smiley

Thanks, whoever has got things moving again.  Smiley

Defaced, I'm sorry you feel you need to move on, you would be a huge loss to Aiden. I'd like to help as much as I can, but I've no technical expertise. It would be great if we could get this coin's reputation and popularity increased, especially now its value has grown significantly.

Id be willing to assist in anything that needs done, just let me know Smiley

Can anyone upload are files with synced blockchain ?

That would help too, but we need more nodes as well. Getting only 1 connection to the AIDEN network may be a risk of having the coin die pretty soon. If that single node fails, then AIDEN couldn't keep up with transactions. I will see if I could use some of my Raspberry Pis as AIDEN full nodes.  Smiley

Hi all, something happened to the chain this morning? (~10:45am BST). I've 4 peer connections but not syncing past that time?  Huh

Thanks dev for sharing this useful list of nodes. Luckily, I was only able to receive 1 connection to the AIDEN network. Because of this, syncing of the network is very slow. But I still have good faith in this coin.  Smiley

Be happy, At least you have 1 connection but even I haven't it. Could you upload all blockchains till now somewhere?

I try to rescue my wallet backup but without sync i can do nothing.

Try to add this node 68.65.123.231 should work , but i think we should do some crowfunding and buy some cheap nodes, this kind of things are not good for the coins, Defaced technically  needed to do with AIDEN or it only needs PR management ?

Could you upload "peer.dat" file? If you could sync Thus your "peer.dat" could help us.

Yes that would help a lot for syncing with the blockchain. Also, if you could share details of your aiden.conf file, it would be of great use to us to fix sync problems on the wallet. I think we need new nodes to maintain the coin alive.  Smiley

I couldn't sync. i Couldn't find any active nodes. Thus someone upload peer.dat and i will share my config file.
