That time it was necessary to use some platform to be able to raise money so they went for ERC20 tokens. Bancor is being built to survive and grow independently using its own protocols. I don't think failure of ethereum can collapse or damage Bancor or other projects. Most projects have their own codes and they are considered threat to ethereum in long run.

BNT's low price were reason of worry for many folks but now it seems that things began to calm downed already. Now after seeing it touching almost $5 with low market cap and limited supply shouldn't be hard to realize that this token should be at $50 at least. It will be there in couple of months this is my targeted price.

I am doing research about the Bancor, I have heard that the bancor has raised a lot of money but the price is still lower than the ico eth price, so I just want to know why is that?

Bancor is build on Eth right? That means its FIAT value will always partially be determined by Eth, correct? Will there ever be a decoupling? Can Bancor survive if Eth fails?

Was bancor holding it's funds in crypto? How much ico funds does bancor currently hold? USD + CRYPTO + Other Investments.

I think most of it is in ETH. 20% of all ether raised was allocated as a long term budget, and 20% of it for reserve (rest for expenses and developement). You can check more detailed info about token allocation and terms in this medium blog post - https://medium.com/@bancor/bancor-network-token-bnt-contribution-token-creation-terms-48cc85a63812

BNT rises when ETH rises (on top of any BNT-specific rally). But connectors like STX don't seem to be affected indirectly by holding BNTs when ETH is rising. If I understand this correctly, shouldn't a connector like STX see some boost (via BNT) when ETH rises?

BNT token is back at ICO price for those who invested directly using fiat currencies but those who bought it with Bitcoin or Ethereum need to wait. Although price is over $4 and looks good but market's capitalization shows there is at least 10x growth will be easily. No way to selll at these price and will keep holding as long as I can.

You are totally right. It makes no sense to sell at these prices. With the money flowing in crypto constantly these days, it would only make the one that takes your trade happy in some time. BNT has a big upside potential, its just no "moon over night coin". But we knew this beforehand, actually this was also why we invested in Bancor, because it will balance the market and help the crypto space infrastructure. With Bancor, cryptocurrencies will prosper!

Hi! I put my EnjinCoin into the Bancor Token Relay a few weeks ago. I then converted my ENJ to ENJBNT and just recently I converted 85 ENJBNT back to ENJ, but only got 65 ENJ. Why is this? Does both ENJ and BNT need to be up in value? How can I get the same amount? Is there a calculator for relays? Thanks

We are waiting for 2018: It will be interesting when a huge amount of companies will create smart tokens on the bancor protocol. It`s a long term investment, like a comsa.

If you feel so dumb buying this coin in ICO: Clap your hands! Grin Grin
You should just keep your sour and bitterness to yourself.
Learn to invest after you do your own diligent,
Most of user here know this coin won’t get moon suddenly, the protocol inhabit sudden moon without any concrete news or reasons.
It was stupid not to invest in this ICO since you had the ETH floor and could only go up from there.
It didn't quickly explode in price and it was obvious that your funds were better stored in ETH for the time being - true. But nobody lost money by entering the ICO and getting their ETH back shortly after.
And this coin is now a sleeping giant, so I'm pretty certain that its time will come - sooner rather than later.

Looking for some help from someone in the Bancor community.

I sent ETH to Contract 0xd76b5c2a23ef78368d8e34288b5b65d616b746ae (BancorEtherToken) but the transaction was never completed. Now my ETH is stuck there and I can't find out how to get it back.

Would anyone be willing to help walk me through the process of getting it back? I would really appreciate it and could even pay a little for your time if needed. I'm really having trouble finding anyone who can help me out.

This is my account: https://etherscan.io/address/0x0086a30A25F8D683395CFAecDC1446b3cC020285

I was using Parity when I transferred the ETH originally.

Please reply here or DM me if you can help.

Thanks!
Jason
Can you post your transaction id? It should be on your wallet.

I'd suggest the following - take your transaction id and run it on etherscan. See what comes up. If it cannot find the transaction id, that means there was an error broadcasting it, and the miners and nodes don't really know about your transaction. You can just recover your ETH locally. There's no 'stuck' status really - it is just about confirmed or unconfirmed transactions. If it is unconfirmed but seen by the nodes, it may just be a matter of time before it gets accepted into a block.

You should also check how much fees you sent the transaction with. Check out the current network suggested fees here: https://www.ethgasstation.info/ If you want to 'force' the transaction through, you should be able to just add more fees to your earlier transaction (don't know exactly how to do this for Parity, sorry, but I am sure you can Google that).
