Greetings fellow Bean sprouters,

Can't seem to get a few questions answered, any help would be appreciated.

Q:  Do I need to do anything unusual or special  to stake my Bitbeans in a fully synced, and unlocked wallet? It has been consistently hovering between 12-15 hours  till reward  for over a week.

Q:   Is it possible  that I simply don't have anywhere near enough coins to be seriously staking at all?   (I'd say 1211474.89 BITB ought to be good for sprouting something, a leaf a root, anything!)

Q:   Can I please see and hear people posting positive results from their healthy, fully functioning, successfully, and frequently staking BitBean Wallets?

Q:   Can I please be informed of merchants accepting BitBeans for goods and services?

Q:   Would folks please post here their reviews of successful Exchanges with healthy wallets, and rapid no nonsense transactions? For the love of The Bean!  Smiley

THANK YOU.

Would the BitBean community be interested in an extended history book to be released this year?  Please see:

Bitbean up for delisting again on Bittrex, and if it goes theres no way it can survive on Bleutrade and Cryptopia.   Not enough volume on either of those exchanges.

this coin is a strong coin, eventhough the price is that low, it is the real price for this strong coin, it's been around and in the competition for quite sometimes and remain while some coins came and go, so please do something to make this coin live and be more competent.
Bitbean is one of my first coin and i never loose hope for this coin.

I agree BitBean keeps on fighting on and shows that it does have strong support however we can't seem to break 5 sats and every time it looks like it will, it get's dumped. Same here BitBean was one of my first coins I got into and I have never sold any Beans yet because I believe in BitBean and the dev. Just hope one day it pays off.

Do you think bitbean can break 5 sats and back to 10 sats again?

Well I'm not too sure if it can because as we have been seeing every time we get anywhere near 5 sats it is then dumped. It is currently at 5 sats now so it will be interesting to see if it can hold at this level and break out to 10 sats which I am hoping it can do. We shall see what happens in the next 24 hours.

What is the correct syntax for entering nodes to the wallet console, I keep getting error message "method not found" I'm using the linux wallet, but it does not connect for syncing.

I'm using these nodes:  ( are they even correct, current and active?)

Yahooooooooooooooo! Yippeeeeeeeee!   that's working 7active connections, wallet syncing like a spinning top. Now to go to Novaexchange and withdraw to my new BITBEAN WALLET and watch em grow.

Thanks for a sane explanation and an easy fix. I guess you have to know how to prepare the soil before you plant the beans. I appreciate your help... will be sending my first thousand Bean to:

Thank you for responding. I got that list from an ancient post here. Your list of nodes is obviously much more extensive. I'm not trying to create a .conf file for a Windoze wallet, I'm trying to add nodes from the console
inside my Linux wallet, which is the most current one and simply won't connect at all for syncing. Still trying to get a quarter million beans into my wallet for staking. Not connecting at all. Zero peers. Any suggestions, I haven't given up, just can't figure out how to addnodes from the command line so I can make a deposit and set these beans 'a sproutin'.

 Smiley

You will need to create a BitBean.conf file if you want to connect to the network. If you are using Linux, you will want to create that in this directory:

Code:
cd ~/.BitBean
nano BitBean.conf

copy/paste the addnodes I gave previously

ctrl+o  (To save the file.)
ctrl+x  (To exit nano.)

Restart BitBean-qt and wait a few minutes, it should connect..unless you have another issue like port 22460 being filtered/blocked by your firewall/router/ISP.

Where are you getting those from? Those are the wrong ports, just use default port (22460). Put only these in your BitBean.conf :

"Bean Cash..More Than Digital Cash!"
what's the correct syntax to enter nodes from console in Linux wallet? I keep getting the red error message "method not found"

Thanks   Can't very well buy some beans if the wallet doesn't sync straight away right out of the box. And why isn't the current wallet the ONLY version available for download? I can never figure out why all wallets don't have a current version displayed loud and clear right at the top of the wallet....doesn't that make more sense than flashy artwork, or "features" that are frequently just plain broken? No reflection on the bean, love the bean!

"Current Official build versions" are the only ones available on our Downloads.

The current wallet dosn't support "addnode" in the console (this is being addressed in the next version 1.1.2 release).

You can add nodes via BitBean.conf located in ~/.BitBean on your linux machine. If you have started the BitBean Wallet at least initially, this directory will have been already created. Edit BitBean.conf and add "addnode=" for each node you would like to add.

You can find current nodes listed here:  https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bitb/#!network
Click on "node list"s.

The next release v1.1.2 will be updated, so "out of the box" users don't need to add nodes.

If you need assistance in the future, stop by our PUBLIC LIVE CHAT facility. Our developers are active there daily and you will have a much quicker response than this forum.
(This facility will be upgraded to a new version of software that supports Group Video conferencing for members of Bean Core. If for some reason it is not online at the time of your visit, the server is being upgraded (we host our own collaboration tools on our own infrastructure...most "coins" use a free version of Slack that is centralized and limited.). If in the case the the PUBLIC LIVE CHAT facility is unavailble,  you may wish to try the IRC link for live chat support.

You may also chat with other Beaners in our Official IRC Channel #teambean on Freenode.

As for current version information being displayed, we appreciate the feedback and will take that into consideration on upcoming releases.

Users may submit requests for changes or improvements they would like to see in the BitBean wallet here:  http://www.bitbean.org/forum/what-would-you-like-to-see-in-the-bitbean-wallet
