Just like to thank everyone for the help syncing my wallet. It is now syncing and should be done in the next 6 to 8 hours from now and then I can transfer my Beans from POSWallet and start sprouting them on my own local wallet. BitBean is holding steady at around 20 sats which is great to see and hopefully this weekend I'll be able to pick up some more.
That's great news! It took over 24 hours for mine to synch; still, much quicker than BTC.

I have the same issue on my brother's computer as i want to move my BitBeans from POSWallet to my brother's computer but when I downloaded the new 64-bit wallet I had no active connections and tried everything but still couldn't get it to work so I gave up on it. By the way my brother has Windows 7 on his computer. Any help would be great.

I talked to the developers last night, they were very kind and helpful. The problem is that the .conf file is still required, even though the website said it was not.  On the download page, which they updated to reflect this continued requirement, there are links to the .conf file data and a "how to" guide for placing the file in the correct place.

Once I had the config file, everything came up.  Still synchronizing, seems to take around 12 to 15 hours (for me).

Also add these nodes as the other person said. It worked for me.

Okay thanks for the update on your status and I'll give this a try and see if it works for me as I really want to start staking my Beans on my own wallet as I haven't been able to before as I only use a Laptop and there isn't much space for the BitBean wallet so I am currently using POSWallet. But now that my brother said I can use his computer I can now download and start sprouting my Beans on his computer but like I said I couldn't get the wallet to sync so now I'll try this so thanks my friend.

Interesting price action.

Let's not try to rush too fast. Lot's too be done Wink

U are a new patron a crypto and don't know what bitbean is. Its broken code was forked many times by me and members of my family, many bootlegs of it could be found in the wild. Everyone's motivation to fork it was that it was easier than forking other alts, and so bitbean attracted many young money rushers to its code despite it was a piece of shit.

Not quite sure what you're trying to say but the vast majority of your posting history is negative.

I know.  All guy was trying to do is compliment as far as I see.  Why so negative lol?

I downloaded the new 1.1.0 64-bit Windows wallet, and do not get any active connections. With this new version there is no conf file... there doesn't seem to be anything I can tweak. Is this an install issue?

Thanks.
