yep. that fits the bill as far as i'm concerned. subtlety is not a strong point in this arena. but i don't think they have any interest in buying back bitcoin though. they really want to kill it. the rest of the world might have something to say about that.
What is happening with Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash⁉️
📢 A group not officially known is making an attack on several fronts to destabilize Bitcoin, since it was not possible to use SegWit2x to create another fork.
The Methodology is this one:
1️⃣ On the one hand, they are saturating the chain of blocks with a lot of transactions, around 23 per second, causing a large accumulation of unconfirmed transactions, which will undoubtedly cause slowness of the network during the next days, inviting back to the topic "We need a bigger block", benefiting Bcash's block with that idea, but in a manipulative way.
2️⃣ On the other hand, they are using the margin management skill of several exchanges to manipulate the market, which only requires organization and some money. This is like this: SHORT is done in Bitcoin and LONG in Bcash in several exchanges, using margin, knowing that they are the biggest competitors (besides ETH). By making BTC short they cause their price to go down, and by doing BCH long they cause their price to go up.
Then, they depend on the mass of people leaving and following the trend they try to score, launching stop loss in several places, and causing panic sales and purchases.
This plan is sustainable for some time, which will be as soon as most of the bitcoin sellers, of those who sold in panic, leave the market. Then buyers will be left alone, taking advantage of the price drop. At that time, they, who are manipulating the market, close both positions, taking advantage of both, and very probably buying the BTC, and taking it to new highs, probably at around 8500 or 9000.
3️⃣ And in the third point of strategy, they will take news out of various places, articles, texts, and any number of things to scare.

There i´m not with you. I don´t believe tha Bitcoin Cash will ever reach the price of Bitcoin. BCC will be a very successful and high valued coin, but it will never come close to Bitcoin.

in terms of value most people agree that the house you live in is priceless. This is simply explained because you will not buy and sell the place you live for profit since you need it to live. Hence the question of if you sold all of you bitcoin cash what would you buy? ..it is beyond measure in money (which is a supposed to be a measurement tool by right). If there was a higher quality medium of exchange then it could also represent the highest store of value for several reasons but there is not. Do not make the mistake of thinking this is by accident.

The common wisdom is to buy on rumor, sell on news. I would say just after the fork. I could be wrong, though.
Yes that is the wisdom, but it doesn't apply here. The BCH fork has been news for the past week. Nobody was buying the rumor.
I suppose you could say that the rumor is "Bitcoin Cash is Satoshi's original Bitcoin"? But when that's news, I don't think the BCH price will go down, LOL.
No, we still do not know exactly what effect the new difficulty retarget algo will have on the network. Therefore, it is still "rumor." It will be news when we see it play live on the mainnet.
Have to disagree with you here, bones. "Buy the rumor, sell the news" is a Wall St. trader maxim. It has nothing to do with technicals or fundamentals - it's just playing on human psychology and the greater fool concept. These guys have no idea what diff adjustments, mempools, and hashrate are!
Even the Kore Segwit minions don't fully understand those topics, ie. that's why you have so many people running around like chickens with their heads cut off when somebody mentions that BCH is hard forking...
If you're looking for a rumor then how's this: "The Chinese miners may drastically reduce the BTC hashrate on the date of the Segwit2x fork even though the fork was cancelled"?

it is amazing how this pump is created...evertime when btc goes down bch goes up..and btc goes up bch goes down at the same moments..whales take they profit and goes to the other coin to make their fast the profit..and go one.. very dangerous

Bitcoin.com, Gavin and Kim.com all swapping for more BCH. This is all by design. Hash power of BCH starting to overtake BTC. 140k+ uncomfirmed. Money has to be exchangeable on demand. Bitcoin pump to 7800 was just a pump to sell off to buy more BCH.
