Bitpay issues

Dear all, we have had some issues with bitpay payments not clearing to our webshop correctly. I will keep an eye on bitpay account ledger from now on just to double check that you have paid (if the time window for the payment closes for some reason, the order status will not change to processing.) I apologize for the shipping delay caused by this.

We have been testing the new M-boards and H-cards today and they seem to work ok, but are running quite hot with the factory pot settings. Max clock speed is 52 to avoid overloading the regulator. We are not comfortable shipping this product yet without further testing and perhaps changing the pot to lower core voltage setting. (which is really slow to do manually, so we need to ask the factory to do this). I will wait until tomorrow for the H-card order wire payments, and if they don't clear there will be some more H-cards up for grabs tomorrow.

thanks for the info punin, will there be more old Hboards?

Was expending stuff last week, but nothing arrived.. I'm sure we'll get some stuff next week, but if it's the new boards we need a few days to get acquainted with them.

Was the "new" H-Cards the new stuff you were talking about, or are you releasing some all new hardware?

Is there a way to get notified, I missed the Nov 5 release.

I think it would be great to have USB hardware, so we can choose how we setup our network/H-Cards. Raspberry is not known for stable WiFi. And the M-Boards are just not... how can I put this, flexible!

Yes darkfriend Smiley I'm sorry I was a bit upset. It's just so frustrating when I work long days my ass off to deliver to you the best I can and then somebody screws up like this. It has been a black week for couriers. We had DHL, Matkahuolto, TNT and FedEx all fuckup this week. I miss UPS and their express box that was just the right size for our 400GH full kit Smiley

I'd just like to say many thanks Punin for very smoothly operated warranty return and pleasant service (which is, unfortunately, quite rare in finnish companies and maybe even more rare in ASIC businesses so far)!! So +1 for BFSB - the most pro ASIC hardware company on the planet! Cheesy

Dear All

Here's what happened:
As you know, we're located in a remote area (aka +1 area for couriers). This means that for an order to get shipped same day, I needed to drive 100km (one way) every day to Lieto UPS hub before 1730 and drop the boxes there. (This on top of long days work). This was very painful, so when my friend who had become a Matkahuolto franchise (finnish bus and courier service company) suggested I'd work with him and DHL to get stuff shipped same day from our office directly (for overnight delivery in europe), I decided to give it a try.

First shipment went out mostly ok (DHL guy came and picked it up directly). Second shipment I used Matkahuolto+DHL. What happened then, was a total mess..

The box that was sent out on wednesday from Kimito Matkahuolto to DHL in Turku never got to DHL, because no-one had informed DHL that they need to pick it up. I called them up and told them about this and they apologized a lot etc. Then came thursday. Again we took a box and and filled it with the DHL packages. This time the DHL sales rep I work with himself called DHL and told them to pick the boxes up. Well.. for some reason the box from wednesday wasn't handled over to DHL again!!!!. So thursday evening I received some phone calls from customers about this issue. I couldn't do anything, but knew something was wrong. This morning I called the DHL sales rep and he was so ashamed he didn't find enough words to apologize. He then personally drove to Matkahuolto hub to pick the package up and saw it through that everything was scanned.

I believe everyone's order is finally on its way. I was on a business trip to Helsinki today so couldn't answer mails or any other communication. Now I plan to get some good rest. I got the have new M & H boards today, so we'll be testing them over the weekend and next week. We're planning on manufacturing custom heatsinks for these boards, so you'll be able to squeeze all the performance out of them.

Have a good weekend, and once again my apologies for this shipping fukup. I'll contact you all for refunds after weekend.

Hello,

As i see that everyone gets to track their package with a DHL number (which i still have not although my order is "complete" on BFSB's website), I was wondering if you all guys paid the additional fee (around 180€ if i remember) to get the express delivery? Or is it the regular shipment?

++

yea, i paid for express delivery and my package is stuck in Finland for 3 days .... Angry Angry Angry

uh thats bad man :/ i just hope i get my hands on it before mining at 400Gh/s pays 0,1 BTC/days

tracking went live, after 72 hours

humpf apparently my package arrived in paris but DHL are unable to track the office where i should pick it up because i dont have any delivery number.... aaahhhhgg thats so frustrating!! DHL is playing with my nerves big time :/

Bitfury 55nm ASIC by Reel (October Delivery)?? This are Asic Chip??

You are selling 3000 chip for Euro 45K?/ so Euro15 per chip or $19.5?? and each chip is 5gh/s??, so 3000 x 5gh/s = 1.5TH??

Amazing, July you charge E240K x $1.30 = $312k  but October only E45K x $1.30 = $58.5 ?/ Opps this are all Euro.

$19.50 per chip of / 5gh/s = $3.90 per gh/s is very reasonable I would say.

But your full kit is expensive - 400gh/s for $9750 is $24 per gh/s.

According someone who is involved with the assembly house in China, he said we should not pay more than $8-9/chip, as he said someone paid $8 for 6,000 Bitfury ASIC chips to be used for the hashing boards with 32 Bitfury ASIC chips per board.

Can someone here confirm this?
