It's been Problems for Years. Maybe some of it can be Blamed on the US Authorities Changing Rules and making it Hard for US Exchanges to Operate. And they actually Followed the Rules, when some Others didn't, I remember when You could just say "No" to "Are You a US Resident". Bittrex always had all the Problems associated with Following the Rules.

Just wanted to Point that out. But it always has been like, Wondering if You are ever going to be able to get anything out. And it's Yours.

It seems you have tried to have access to your account granted but Bittrex have not allowed it and the way things ar looking they will never allow it because the time for withdrawal has expired. Now you are fully aware of their policy and action (and the fact they will not make any exceptions even in your case), what will you do next to try to get access to your funds?

....
They close support tickets automatically..

Why have we not seen more cases of a similar nature regarding Bittrex. How many other accounts were closed in the same way and how many of their customers are trying to get back assets that were frozen if they can pass KYC.

It has been over a week since you told us about the ID card rejection and request for a passport that you did not have therefore has anything happened in the interim? In the those years, did you ever manage to apply to have your first passport issued?

.. I am curious, if they did not accept your official documents in 2020 when you tried to resolve this issue,
They did not accept my country's ID card Only passport that I did not have

I don't remember if I closed my old account, but I think I never used it and I didn't receive any email about this.
I guess you closed it, or maybe you withdrew all you had since you didn't get any emails about it.

I haven't used Bittrex since late 2017 /early 2018 and I was very surprised when last summer I received reminder email from them. And since then I've been receing them every few months, reminding me to withdraw that ~$1 i have there.

I got the same email from them yesterday, but the amount I have stuck there is not so big as yours ($1.40 lol).
Minus withdrawal fees you would probably have to pay them for this ''transfer''  Tongue

Did you see how they are allowing withdrawal only of USDT for people who had fiat money left in their account, since they conveniently swapped all USDT to USDT 1:1?

Thank you for clarifying what happened back in 2020 to your account (along with what seems many others). I am curious, if they did not accept your official documents in 2020 when you tried to resolve this issue, were you trying again as a matter of formality in the hope they will release your funds or did you really have high expectations? I have added the unloaded image from your post for easy viewing.

We have heard stories like this before, casinos and exchanges allowing their customers to make deposits but using KYC when customers try to withdraw. Any company doing that cannot be trusted because using KYC in that way is ethically wrong no matter what their terms of service state.

I apologize for my poor language, I can't explain the whole story for this reason (I apologize if there is an error in translation)..
In short, my account was disabled among many accounts at that time (almost 2020) in what is known as the arbitrary KYC incident, without allowing our balance to be withdrawn at that time. Because they were allowing deposits without verification In general, I was among them and I was unable to withdraw my balance from that incident and They did not accept my official documents

I just received another email from them to withdraw funds from their platform. Looks like this bull increased my funds there, I certainly won't go through their harassment for $5, but you should know that the withdrawal from Bittrex is still active.

I remember getting their withdrawal reminder emails last summer, and them saying that you have to do it until the end of August or something like that, so I guess it was just a bullshit as apparently they still allow withdrawals.

I think that is one of their official address.

Allowing someone to deposit and then holding user funds and demanding for KYC is unfair in my opinion. Most exchanges, including Binance, would just let you withdraw your funds. If you failed to verify your account, they would disable all other account functions like trading, deposits, swaps except for the withdrawal.
What Bittrex did is close to fraud.

You should try to contact them on every official channel from email to social media until they at least respond.
I will try to do that

You have tried to gain access to any funds that were in the account after a four year gap. Without being told the full story behind why they froze your account in the first place, it seems likely you will not have success in your aim. If they were going to allow access now why would they have blocked you getting to your funds four years ago.

You should try to contact them on every official channel from email to social media until they at least respond.

Are you sure you contacted the right address?..
yes through https://bittrexglobal.zendesk.com

How did you make this screenshot from the balance if you don't have access to the platform?..
This is an old screenshot after my account was frozen (2020) And I haven't been able to complete KYC since then

They responded to me!
Seemingly, my balance has been hijacked!  Undecided without attention to the mail messages
To be honest, I had an account with them back then but when I check through my email address, i realized that they never sent out any message regarding withdrawals except some email containing a like to a hearing notice - https://d1rcho0ym4nfh2.cloudfront.net/bittrex/1003Bittrex-Confirmation-Hearing-Notice.pdf

Luckily, I had nothing in the account, since I stopped liking the exchange  shortly after using it.

Also, their last update is from 8 Dec '23, when all other functions are disabled except withdrawal and this is still stated on their global page. If they were active in December, why are they referring to the August deadline in replying to you?

UPDATED 8 DECEMBER

Effective Monday 4 December 2023, all trading activity on Bittrex Global has been disabled. Customers are now only able to withdraw assets as part of the winding down process.

The August deadline was for bittrex.com folks (US people), not to be confused with bittrexglobal which are for peeps outside US.

From OPs previous post, they were accessing bittrex.com. It's also worth noting that accessing bittrex.com from a non-US IP redirects you to bittrexglobal so I had assumed they're a bittrex.com user unless OP was using a VPN.

Are you sure you contacted the right address? I find it a bit strange that they only have a Twitter address as a contact.
How did you make this screenshot from the balance if you don't have access to the platform? If you are not sure about it, it is quite possible that it is a fake. Be careful further.

I know that there were a lot of phishing emails asking to withdraw from Bittrex.
