I hated to see how the first guy came and asked why we did trust you with our funds and the stupid discussion which started... but seeing this outcome he was absolutely right.

So lets see...I agreed to send the funds to whatever project the community decides on, but he was right?... If you say so...

Ok, sorry... I was on my mobile and did not see that...

Would everybody agree to give the 6000 USD or so that were donated for the WallStreet Takeover event to maarx of the WS Foundation, if he agrees to do the event and for IE's sake guarantees that nobody else of the foundation will touch the money?

6000 USD? Look at my previous posts for the correct amount please.

The only right thing to do is for IE to return the funds to the donators. The BlackCoin Foundation should not get involved with handling this fund. I am happy to help foundation with fundraising but those funds raised by IE are toxic as far as i'm concerned and should be returned to senders IF the senders want the funds back.

Yep, but it is too much work for him... so let us be pragmatic... let us as a community decide to do the event. IE does not have so much work and we get what we wanted in the first place.

The problem is that if a single donator did not agree it would cause the foundation problems and they would be performing the refunds. Then what would happen? What would happen if the refund requests were bigger than the donations? I don't think the foundation can touch this money, it would be like opening a can of worms. It was IE responsibility and there is no option but for him to deal with it.

It "being too difficult" just doesn't cut it.

If the foundation promises to do this event as it was planned than no donator (me included) would protest. That would be stupid....

We have to turn frustration into inspiration.

Note: this thread does not properly reflect the average sentiment of the community.

Maarx I sincerely hope you join a dev team that will make you wealthy, you deserve it. But BC will not be your ticket to wealth....

To be clear about this, there is no such thing as a "dev team" for BlackCoin. There is a single developer.

There are various dev teams working on services and content around BlackCoin. BlackCoin is, and always will be, a community coin.

We should not look up to any one person to represent BlackCoin or to "fix things". And we are not.

We are a community.

Someone has to represent the community. The community all cant go to a meeting.

While I agree, it might be so that not one man can represent all of the community. Nor that all the community would have a meddle in the WS event. As an organiser, you would have been the face for that.

As such, you listen to community input and will represent it in the way you deem best possible, but in no way can you represent the whole community.

Therefore, we need multiple representatives. Ideally, each and every community member would be able to fully represent BlackCoin on his / her own.

+1  Agree with you both here.  The community does need to "elect" or "back" a smaller group or individuals to take the lead.  It's not like a dictatorship so in that sense it is community, but it does need direction and groups don't tend to make directions (other than random).

I'm going to start fresh, i won't copy paste the proof that you are censoring this thread.

Back on topic:
I asked you to give proof about your accusations of Ximp that he used a template.
Can you comment on that please?

we should vote for maarx as our main community manager and head of the foundation. he has a special kind of dignity, responsibility and professionality.

No one wants to discuss change, all they want to do is troll and post fud. BlackCoin is now worth 8 cents. A few days ago it was worth 14 cents. It is worth almost half of what it was worth just a few days ago, and all these idiots want to do is post garbage. This is why this coin is tanking, no one is taking it serious anymore.

+1   I want a vote on change.

I don't understand a group of people collectively holding the largest raw diamond fighting over how to cut it.  Where are your heads at.  Are we really going to prove that decentralised doesn't work?  Or are we going to prove that for it to work, for its benefits to be reaped people need to learn how to function as a group.  Nothing is ever perfect, bite your tongue, think with your head.  All groups need leaders but the group needs to let that leader lead.  It's not possible for everyone to be the CEO for a day.  Wind your necks in.  Make a choice, empower someone to lead, help, influence but don't then cut them down.  You will never agree with everything that is decided and every direction taken.

Are we headed in the right direction with IE?  Are we headed in the right direction with the foundation?  Understand this direction will never be the exact one you would choose.

Its crystal clear.  I don't agree with everything IE does or says but if I have to choose who is captain of the ship I'm on between him and the foundation then its IE.  I'm not sure he will get us to the destination but I do know the foundation won't.  I believe IE has a reasonable chance of getting us there.

If it happens I will continue to say my bit, influence the the direction we are travelling as much as I can, but I won't throw my toys out the cot if things don't always go my way.

This ship is sinking.  BC has hit the limit of a second class digital currency.  We either grow wings and fly up to LiteCoin and BitCoin or we sink to the bottom.
