No, but it does say in the homepage text that they don't currently work. We have all got to give this a go right now imo.

however it is currently not displaying STATS, so things
like Scrypt hashing rate and Miners count will read 0.

Just to be sure I know what I'm doing: I did a test transfer of 1 blackcoin from mintpal to the blackcoin-qt from http://www.blackcoin.co. When I open the program I see the balance of the wallet on the left and recent transactions on the right. Is that it? If I transfer my remaining balance they will just sit there? And it's secure?

What about the two features "encrypt wallet" and "backup wallet"? What do those do?

Thanks again.

If you don't encrypt you wallet everyone with access to your computer can open your wallet and spend your coins.

If you don't backup your wallet your coins are lost if your hard disc drive is broken or if you can not access the wallet.dat for some other reason anymore.

Do you see your stats on the miner stats page for your BC address? With me it says 0 hashrate after half an hour. But I get accepted shares in cgminer hmm strange?

http://maarx.nl/maarx.nl/blackcoin/distribution/

Top 3 addresses now have 57 million BC which is 76.5% of all BC if this chart is accurate.
Most likely those are exchanges which is a good thing because that means those BC are being redistributed. This also means that people would rather have instant access to BC on the exchange rather then collect 1%.

Since exchanges are getting the 1% is it even fair that they charge any fees for BC? haha  Wink

Earlier today Maarx said that is all wrong as it's on the wrong fork (based on the original rich list which is definitely on wrong fork) - he said he was rewriting it from the ground up right now, so expect that to change fairly dramatically and ignore what you see now.

...and this one works fine http://agran.net/bc_getbalance.php?top=100

just my .02 BC

Seems to be working now. Earlier the top balances were just completely wack. The top two had 10s of millions. This is similar to what I was seeing about a week ago.

Did you confirm the withdraw? (I have made that mistake before)

It took a while for me too, but it came trough.

BC going up!
Glad I bought at 0.073  Cool

hi to all bc strong hands here!

my short crypto story (just over a month yet)
i'm in bc since mining. And now happy holder for long long time. After trying some alt coins, now i only mine and convert every mined coin in bc.

Adviced some friends to do the same and all of them thank me and support bc too.

Im a bit concirned of the mintpal bc domination. they should rename it to blackpal maybe Smiley). I like the mintpal site: nice and simple but what if something goes wrong there (i hope not) but should impact BC world hard (or not!?)

And one more thing:  blackcoin.co should remove cryptorush.in from the exchange list!

Fun things you can do with Blackcoin:
http://coinmarketcap.com/

74,488,813 BC is total coin count - Make sure your total % of coins is an exact %. For example 0.1% is 74,488.

Now look at market cap of: $ 3,191,477 and say 0.1% of that is mine and you can easily calculate your value. $3191 is what you would have now. Cheesy

We need to make this clear it's not a problem with Blackcoin. It's a problem of Coinrush.

It's creating short term negative publicity unfortunately.

I have full faith in BC never doubted the coin just I am not as techy as some of you here unfortunately.

Sure. I wasn't directing that towards you by the way  Smiley

Just basing it on seeing several topics on the front page ("shocking news about blackcoin" etc).

Yes I totally understand.. I think BC is one of the nicest coins that is why I was mortified with what happened on Cryptorush. I do hope the exchange gets back and all the money they are earning from exchange fees they should compensate all the loss. It was their fault.
