I've just started working on a high-quality infographic to promote BC. It will be aimed at a general audience and assume no previous knowledge of crypto-currency. I will highly focus on the energy savings aspect of BC vs. BTC/LTC/etc. It will show a visual representation of the energy used in mining operations, further broken down into the current largest ASIC farms and projected for the next many years. The visual impact of the difference will be stunning. I will also highlight the huge difference in transaction speed, the massively reduced $$ maintenance costs for the network, and any other advantages that will work well with a visual representation.

1) If anyone has links handy to articles or numbers that will be useful to me, please post so I don't have to do quite so much research. The infographic will be fully sourced and legitimate in its numbers.

2) Is there a stash of high-quality Blackcoin branding & marketing graphics anywhere? Haven't looked yet, but if we don't have that we should put it together.

I have enough graphic design experience to make it professional-looking, just like something you'd see on the frontpage of Reddit, but not enough experience to do it super quickly. It will definitely take me a day or two to put together. If someone has created something like this let me know so I can do something else.

People are visual. I think something like this done right could really highlight to some why Black is the way forward. Every little thing helps, but if it doesn't - eh, I like creating things anyway.

Majority of the top 50 accounts have held. You cant sell without dropping the book significantly. And why would you? There is so much value to take out of Litecoin still. Who cares about burning new investors. This coin is going up weather people like it or not. No buy support? No problem, suck the value out of litecoin and doge and feather or whatever coin. This coin must go up. Its a matter of logic.

IMHO the situation is very similar with VTC. Fast pump and so fast dump and loosing position.

the first one is BC, second VTC. By looking on it it's pretty clear that now you should sell all BC if you do not want to loos your money.

I had loos a lot of money on pump and dump Auroracoin. Do not do my mistake. The coin market only will grow. Soon we will see another new and interesting coin, but no one coin can't stay alive after such big pump!

I can't believe how many people that couldn't buy blackcoin in low prices are here to spread lies about it. Guys just buy and be happy. In a few months, you'll curse for the time you spent to promote some other coin in this thread, for the time you try to make people sell blackcoin. This coin is not another pump and dump coin. This is natural growth. Some big guy just had it enough with the price and sold at the top. This is the reason for the drop. Others are just panic sellers who still don't realize how strong this community is, how strong blackcoin is. Just stop selling and enjoy the ride.

Thats what this is about. What is the point of POW?? Its not really deflationary because miners dump on the market. Thats one reason the price has suffered. Bitcoin wont necessarily fall that way because there are 50 generations of bagholders. But almost every other coin is pointless. What is the point of 95% of the coins on coinmarketcap? Blackcoin has solved that problem. Operation clean up. If people ignore the purchasing power of the pool even for an instant, Blackcoin will buy the orderbook. Dumpers can only prey that people are foolish enough to dump with them.

If you believe in blackcoin not sell anything, what's happening now is that a lot of people came into Blackcoin to make money and try to pump some other shitcoin who holds (these idiots think they will get a pump with 500-1000BTC, impossible!!!) look at our volume!!!

I must say I left this ' community' after BC's first pump.... I dumped 100k @23k and thought it was just another p&d coin.... have regretted this move for many many weeks.... bought back (a lot less for a lot more ) because I believe BC can actually do this! The community and devs made BC a serious coin with a lot more to it than 'just a mulitpool'. The rebranding is amazing... the black-card awesome..... getting real-life purpose with CoinKite... these are all really amazing accomplishments.... Just look at all the other coins trying to copy the concept...... We must not forget the goal this week was to go over 10k.... heck it doubled each and every day ..... it was inevitable to have a correction phase.... Just yesterday when I woke up I couldn't believe it was 50k... now we 'panic' seeing 50k..... People are just looking for quick btc's to board the ZET train... that could also take off and stay there. I believe that now, because of BC! BC needs a little time to breath before it can push on. I am convinced it hits 1 usd soon. Then or even before then... exchanges like btc-e may want a piece of the pie and we are in a whole other league, with people that haven't even heard of BC yet. We forget the 500, the 3000, the 8000, the 50k levels.... No-one thinks about BTC or LTC that way anymore. We now experience what those BTC holders must have gone through all the way to the top ... it's harder to 'hold' when you are aware of your growing capital every day. I'm freaking out everyday imagining my BC's to become LTC/BTC worth... It is possible... Don't become the pizza guy! But how much cooler it is to buy a pizza with you blackcard then it's ever going to be with a litecoin!

If you have to hope that it gets to a certain price point, you should sell. Clearly you do not have the emotional backbone to justify being in the trade. Whether you are riding momentum from a technical perspective or valuing on its fundamentals, at least you have a basis for being in. Wishing and hoping are two things the market could give two shits about.
