I'm also having problems getting the new wallet to fully update 
Stuck on block 5866.
Stuck on block 5866.
Back up your wallet.dat file
Go to your roaming folder and delete the boomcoin folder.
delete your shortcut (remove all)
Then download the new wallet.
Install. Bingo

Try turning it off and on again.
Done that several times, also added the boomcoin conf with a couple of addnodes, but still the same, i have plenty connections to the network too :S

Bittrex is most likely upgrading to the new wallet. I have not been informed of any issues as everything should work perfectly
I agree on that with the wallet, but what happened with the whitepaper, when will we see it?when it is ready i imagine.

?We have a meeting scheduled for Thursday. Once we finalize the details we will issue a press release. The processes may take a few weeks although due to the nature of the project.
