This is really weird. Please help.  Huh

According to CryptoBlox I have received 26515.298348 TALK to my address (CT7QDdCKTVGbaXLmBzGHgxcsq2wRaYLBqp) in 7 different transactions including the Airdrop and the smaller donations from various members: http://explorer.cryptoblox.com/address/CT7QDdCKTVGbaXLmBzGHgxcsq2wRaYLBqp
Thanks to everyone involved with that.

I haven't checked my wallet since I created it with wallet version 1.4.0 and today, after I read the Airdrop was over, I had a look and none of the transactions are showing and the balance is zero. I am using the latest client 1.5.2 on a fresh blockchain sync and I'm on the right chain as per CryptoBlox. And I haven't made any other transactions myself nor mined.

I tried "repairwallet" and "checkwallet" in the console and the checks passed but that's as far as my knowledge can take me.
The wallet seems ok as both repairwallet and checkwallet return "wallet check passed" : true.

Any suggestions on what else can I try? How do I find my private key? Can the private key help me get the transactions back?

Thanks in advance.
Does the address CT7QDdCKTVGbaXLmBzGHgxcsq2wRaYLBqp (public key) show up in the Receiving tab?  If not, the only thing I can think of, is that you deleted the wallet.dat file, that contained the address , when you deleted the old blockchain.  Try to look in your Recycle bin to see if it's still there.

Yes the address shows up in the Receive tab but for the rest is just a blank wallet with no transactions.
I copied it to a different location before deleting the old BTCtalkcoin folder.
Installed 1.5.2 and synced a fresh blockchain then copied it back when the client was closed.
Any other console commands or suggestions I can try?

Well, this guy received 4 Airdrop shares today: with the addresses ending in "yGG", "yHy", "3hj", and "4VA".  If you do a search in the google list, you will find that they belong to username: sienna, noelmal, and kelsey.   kelsey is a Sr Member of BTCtalk since 2012!!!  noelmal: Full member since may 2013!!! All the same person.
Interesting, this guy really is such a lame piece of scum.  A community coin and he is blatantly shoving his fingers up at all of us by being greedy and having multiple accounts.  No less a so called sr member.

Bit disappointed by your last post hippietech, nerioseole has been the only reason why everyone if not most got their coins.

All cryptos are FIAT digital currency. Do not use.

15% per day ? of 31M Huh REALLY ??

Please give us a more detailed explanation of the PoS calculation.

If you are a HERO member, like you claim to be, you should be able to read the code, unlike some newbies, that you despise so much, can...

For the benefit of the other members of BCC/TALK, the POS is 15% per year, but you have to wait 1 day after a transaction for the coins to be able to stake, up to 180 days.

That is 1.25% per month, so 62M at 1.25% = 775k coins after a month.  There are 860k coins left to be minted.

From the local time that shows up on the picture that you added to your post (12 AM) - it is time for you to go to bed...  I did check the users that you outed on your post - so far, no proof that they are poppets - their coins haven't moved since May. Unlike yours, that got transferred to an account as soon as you received your Airdrop - to dump them on the exchange ? (ref: block 25586).  Maybe you should move to Darkcoin, to avoid people snooping around on you... but, I have been told that it is not fail-proof either...

The link below gives you access to all the transactions done with the Airdrop Wallet today:

https://mega.co.nz/#!9RNzHB5K!6Cem9PKN2Av8cDYNcp9F1z_VatkVrdYYyKGYyJyZcxg

If you browse through it, you will find you own address(es)...

I dumped it because I want this garbage shyte off of my hard drive. lol

And since when is coding a prerequisite for this forum !? lolz

Plz let me take this opportunity to put our a biiig FUCK YOU to all you shitcoin/ IPO cloning devs, puppets and shills ! Smiley

We see your frauds, ponzis and scams... once again... FUCK YOU. Grin

We are indeed waiting for him - he PM'd me this morning to tell me that he was out of his house for the last 3 days...  And a few hours ago, I noticed that he had staked the 25M... he most likely didn't encrypt the wallet <--- edit Grin GTFO !!  - we will have to wait until the stake confirms before he can send the balance...

I did an update, line by line, of the google list, against the blockchain:
- 510 users received 9820 coins on May 22/23
- 91 users received 4810 coins on May 22/23
- 522 users did not receive anything yet.

Flubber and bitdraw you are correct, you didn't get anything - you are confirmed on the first batch to receive yours - along with 520 other users. dukeneptun received his first coins already - you will be on the third batch.

He had done it by block of 50, got back up 52 positions, repeat, than skip 50, than another 50 users, go back up 52 positions on the list, repeat, skip, etc. Was kind of weird...

Hang in there - I am doing the best I can to distribute the coins once Rawdawg- send them to me.  The new list is ready to go, along with the new scrypt from jwinterm - just missing the coins.

I am planning on distributing the whole thing at once - not in weekly installments.  I don't think a massive Airdrop can crash the price more than it is ATM...

Honorcoin | To be launched in less than 24h:

A guy comes into someone else's thread and tries to hijack it with another coin.  And this coin is called "honor"  what exactly is honourable about what this person has done?  He isn't helping the Honor coin devs much with posts like that.

POS type giveaway is a great concept and could be a hit if devs didn't constantly screw up distribution, or good distribution then leave Sad
Oh well, as we hope for a better one.

Saved you from a scam? Send me some BTC!
Good job on the airdrop and finally getting it out. It's too bad it wasn't done sooner.
The funny thing, is that the Airdrop is ahead of the original schedule... which was to start on May 17th, and end a month later on June 17th  Cheesy  - the problem was that Rawdawg- first installment reached only ½ the people on the list...

But Hippie Tech was right, there was so many poppets on that list... even the original dev had two usernames on the list...   I removed as many as I could find, but more are popping out on the blockchain - it is even more obvious since the final Airdrop...

But I am not worried. The coin is destined to be of no value, very soon.  And will end up to be just a tipping coin - that's if we can get the network to keep working passed the max supply.

You see, the max supply coded is 63 561 840 coins (ref: main.h).  So far, the network has produced 62 683 254 coins (getinfo). Leaving only 878586 coins to mint.  When the max supply will be reached, in about a month --> no more rewards from minting = miners leaving = no (or very slow) network = no transactions possible = dead coin.  Unless, the miners wants to mint for nothing, which is possible.  Should be interesting...

It could always be forked and re-coded couldn't it? If its about to die, couldn't we have a go a saving it, maybe even come up with something no-one's tried before?

As nerioseole points out, the network is going to be slow, possibly even unusable, and this is a problem for all PoS coins when the mining phase ends.

A PoS network is always gonna be slow, the only thing powering it is a couple of thousand CPU's, compare that to the to the hashrate thrown at networks by GPU miners, you begin to understand why. The only way I see a PoS coin surviving would be one with a mass distribution, it would need to harness enough power to process transactions quickly enough to be usable in the real world. I could be totally wrong, but I'm guessing it's possible with enough wallets, but not a couple of thousand. I'm just an ideas guy, no coding skills or tech background, so I'm just throwing it out there, but what other solutions are there to this?

Hopefully one of the genius's out there reads this and has a light-bulb moment, alternatively, feel free to tell me that I've got it completely wrong, what a noob etc, etc.  Smiley

Good work nerioseole but I fear this coin is going to fail without a proper dev helping out. I and the rest of the community of course appreciate the work you have put in though.

What happened to the PoS generated by the 25M during the "delay" ?

How exactly did you gain access to the air drop ?

Honestly.. fuck this puppet parade !!
- The 160k coins generated during the delay where transferred by Rawdawg- to the Airdrop address: check the block explorer.
- I had asked Rawdawg- to send me the coins a week ago - but due to personal matters, he couldn't send them until today.
- Hippie Tech, there is your chance to make a difference  - be the new dev of this coin from this point forward, and show your positive side - the seat is presently empty...

EDIT: BTW, I did remove about 30 users from the Airdrop today - as there was enough proof in the blockchain, that they were "puppets", like you call them.  And most of them where either jr members/members, and a few Sr Members.. so, the newbie theory alone didn't stick...

Earlier, you claimed that Rawdawg did not encrypt the wallet. What are we supposed to believe ?

Quote
And a few hours ago, I noticed that he had staked the 25M... he most likely didn't encrypt the wallet - we will have to wait until the stake confirms before he can send the balance...

Please post quotes/ PMs/ links and/or screenshots which shows how you knew this and how you recieved the airdrop before it was distributed.

I seriously doubt that the original airdrop changed hands at all. It also doesn't take much of an imagination to see that many /most of the accounts listed are being used without the user's permission /knowledge.

Ok lets use some logic. Imagination ==== it means it is only your theory.
Airdrop is over. No need any new theory.
Another logic. To buy 1.2M ( 2% of total market cap) it takes only 0.36 BTC in these times.
To earn this you need  :  1.200.000 / 26.500 = you need 46 fake accounts. (for reaching 0.36 BTC.... isn´t hilarious  Cheesy ) There aren´t even buy orders for this. (1 fake account can earn 0.007826BTC...wow)

Here is the original list : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-44Y21DQq9wQ1nm_9jPZpy-9Zht5YAECcnobqEWEUc0/edit?pli=1#gid=0
You can send PM to everybody on that list and wait for replays......Or you can look if they are still active.
Then came  back with some facts. Stop makeing this nonsence theories.

By the way ...my momental theory about you . You´re alone in some asylum. And your disease is conspiracy syndrome.
Do you have any proof that can destroy my theory?

We now have to think constructive about this coin.

Airdrop has complete, so aparently no scam

people will insta dump this untill ideas are workt out,
so it would be nice to make a dedicated team around this coin so it will last.

I have tipt jwintern a few coins, I also would like to tip nerioseole for his aford
realising this airdrop.

if you could post your addy i'm willing to send you 25k BCC

Good idea.
We need new thread and new devs.
Let´s make some donation adrress and make some bounties for development.
Even if this coin has no inovative technology....It has big community. (with support from people, we can reach some improvement)
I will surely donate.....

Nerioseole
and jwintern have my votes for new dev team.....

I appreciate the thought, dukeneptun, but I honestly don't even know how to add 1+1 in c++. I am just a lowly self-taught pythonista. I might be able to help build a btc talk forum tibpot, but even that seems pretty tricky, as the forum has no api for receiving and sending messages...
