umm. I just got banned...

So i just started mining 2 days ago, my cpu is [email protected], now that actually cross the 3000pps limit and thus the miner refuse to mine, I then use the task manager to limit the cpu threads to 14 and got my pps at 2800.
The mining works fine for 2 days, this morning i just check and i have got the ban flag.
How do I clear my ban? And is there anyway the miner could work all 16 cores with out me using the task manager to set the core?
thk!

How this is a good specs to mine bytecent only 4 core here on my machine I wonder how many bytecent I'm going to earn with that number of core?

What is the speed of your processor?

I installed the software on a DESKTOP WITH 1.86 GHZ it's an old machine but looking to upgrade to a much faster one once it's profitable to mine Bytecent,I usually use some of my old machines  staking wallets..

Try changing your IP, and if you try to run all 16 cores you will reach the PPS limit. You can put genproclimit=x in your conf file. X is the number of cores you want to use.

If you previously attempted to mine, and received an error regarding being banned, try again.

I would like to mine but showing error because of the absent of graphic card I am planning to buy a graphic card to one desktop where I installed the wallet is it ok if it is lower end graphic card or what are the best or compatible graphic card to mine bytecent?

Any graphics card should be fine. The graphics card is only needed to render the GUI.

That's great I am purely for staking coins and this is a good coin to mine I hope it's rewarding to mine this coin
btw do you offer bounty for marketing a coin I am running a service for this ..

How do you market coins?

BTW, a comment on the lack of exchanges.  I agree that the coin needs more exposer on exchanges, if for no other reason than the fact that any exchange can fail for any reason.

However, if you get this working with companies in the rewards/gift card business, then the wallets and mining should be enough to sustain the coin through exchange issues.  I did not read through whole forum, but just in case that has not been mentioned, it certainly doesn't hurt to not have to depend on exchanges.

I can easily see the wallets becoming the advertising/information avenue for a company to keep customers informed.  A very good one at that.  Think you have pretty much all the angles covered for the long haul.

Funny enough, I remember a conversation a couple of years ago about this type of use for a coin with another group of devs.  Awesome to see someone make it work.  ( And, too bad for them, cause it was not you! )

I like that very much.  A process that many coins are trying to find a way to do.  You have.  This one should take off like crazy some point.  Good Job!

Thank you, it is two years in the making.

PS: More announcements coming soon Wink

If companies use BYC as a vehicle for redeeming rewards in a program, would that not lead to both money coming into the coin and more than likely coins being discarded as people get them and do not use them?  (How many times do you get a "discount" on a future purchase and never use it!)

Any concerns about coin supply if this becomes widespread, or good with BYC bits being used so that the value of owning one grows?

Just asking, like the concept very much.  This is a very good way to create value for a coin in my opinion.  It hits both money in and supply out.

Yes you are correct. For example, we see this with our Bytecent Bounty app. Many Bytecent are just sitting in accounts unclaimed. However,  it will not affect Bytecent in a negative way. Coins taken out of circulation helps to stabilize the value.
