I went on the slack for my MN questions and got it fixed
Turns out I had my MN info in the wrong .conf file

Yes. Your wallet needs to be setup and ran as a master node and it needs to be online to be part of the network and to receive it's reward for doing it's share of the work.

Try asking on slack #support channel. Inviter is working now https://chaincoin.herokuapp.com/ someone should be able to help you there. Generally ubuntu MNs are very stable when setup properly. My nodes work for almost a month now without any problems.

My two masternodes work like a charm on Windows ! Money everyday
Masternodes keep expiring after an hour or two. I do get a few 2CHC transactions before they're cut off though 
Anyone have suggestions? Nodes on different IP's and machines
I don't want to have to manually restart every hour or wait for an update :/
