Yes, bad luck. Difficulty is high to prevent instamine. It is working at least. But don't worry pool is coming soon, so just keep it up.

is cgminer working properly and showing you the new block found and network difficulty set lines?
Because if yes you are mining properly and just not found any blocks yet. (difficulty is increasing and new miners are coming in)

sorry,How to use the CPU mining?
Oh. Just open up the wallet and go to help than debug window than console and there type in setgenerate true - 1. Than you will either here you cpu working or you can check your primespersec with getmininginfo command. Usually you have to wait up to 5 minutes to get a value.
Suggestion: CPU mininig is gonna be hard, since starting diff is high and MH/s rate is incredibly high now so either mine with gpu or join the pool that is coming soon. ( just my suggestion)
