Cloudcoin is a brand new exchange coin. We optimized it, to get a 1 min transaction but also be safe and secure. The amount of coins is also optimized for everyday use and it makes sure that it will be valued. It's fast but secure transaction makes it a strong exchange coin that is user and merchant friendly. We also try to make the coin an elegant one that is simple and trust worthy, this includes a smooth, organized and simple website with only a few mining pools, one faucet. We are also working on partnerships with online casinos.

It is not. There are small changes to make it better but that is it. The important thing is the team behind the coin. Look at phenixcoin. They have such a good team and their coin is getting stronger and stronger. We will try everything to back up our coin and to make it worldwide.

The ANN puts "it is using proof-of-stake not proof-of-work"... but how do you mine it if there's no proof of work?
proof of stake cannot work if nobody has any stake... how would you bootstrap the currency, ie how would the initial coins be created?

Unfortunately there are enough "innovative" 
coins out there already, and "innovative" coins under development, the fact is it will not succeed, only BTC and LTC will.

If this thing lasts long enough to make it to Cryptsy (I think that's about 16 minutes), it could hit at .00005 which would make his premine of 200K worth $800.

Im in it for the big money, thats why I invest in BTC and LTC... LTC will be skyrocketing soon, hell I just doubled my investment on LTC Cipherminer shares...

I can take criticism. Positive and negative criticism is welcomed here. I would like to involve the users into the development too. I think that together we can make a good coin. You are welcomed in our community as well. I want us to be friends okey.

We do not have a specific date yet. It depends on the development progress. We would like to release it in 3 weeks. But I will announce official release date hence, so everybody will know.

I'm open for a good new POS Coin. What algorithm (SHA256, scrypt, scrypt-jane, keccak) will you use? If it's ASIC proof (scrypt or better scrypt-jane), them I'm interrested.
