Dear Dev Team,
how is the process with a new thread?
But also a big thank you for your good work!
A new Simple Single Page web site will be going up over the next few days at
http://www.coinocoin.comThis will initially be nothing fancy, no bells and whistles just a place we can start to call home and hang our hats
As soon as this site goes up we will start to create new accounts on bitcointalk, twitter, Google+, Facebook etc and we will create a new IRC channel where we will also have administration rights.
This thread will then become a new ANN and we will try to get the bitcointalk admins to disable this thread and point to the new one.
We are aware that there is confusion and frustration from new visitors that follow the links and downloads from the first post here.
Unfortunately, we have no administration rights in this thread to make changes and we can't make people read 180+ pages of posts to see whats going on.
We apologise to ALL of those that find themselves on the wrong block chain and with the wrong wallets by following links on other websites and on the first post here. But we hope you can understand that we have had more immediate pressing issues to deal with up until now and your continued support for Coin(O) is VERY important to us.
As you may have noticed over the last few weeks, the hash rate on the Coin(O) network has been rising slowly, but steadily. Occasionally we get hit by multi pools for a while due to the fact that Coin(O) starts to creep up the profitability ladder, thus attracting the Pump 'n' Dump miners.
Until now, we have been doing our best to give people a reason to want to own and aquire Coin(O) and the gaming engine is a core part of that. This one thing makes Coin(O) stand out from the crowd at the moment and has starting to get Coin(O) noticed again by the wider community. This along with the constant update of the network stats makes the Coin(O) WebWallet unique among ALL other AltCoin web wallets.
Although, the ultimate goal of any alt coin, and certainly Coin(O)'s initial goal, should be to become accepted as a payment option for retail outlets, the reality is that unless there is significant stability in price and a reasonable market cap that will not happen. To get to this goal over time, we are looking at alternative options to get Coin(O) there and the gaming engine is the first step in this process.
So remember
http://www.coinocoin.com is where it is all happening, and this will be the centre of our new Universe
Happy mining
You're Coin(O) Community Team
