Just few of mine thoughts about coino future Smiley

First off all please excuse me if I say something wrong cause I'm not native English speaker Smiley

It is excellent idea to offer something else on web wallet than just a web wallet (gaming), but how people can get coino's?
    a) by mining
    b) buying on exchange

But what about those that don't want (know hot to) mine, or those don't want to hassle with exchanges?
I have few suggestions:

1. Advertise coino web wallet as gaming platform (maybe do this latter when more games are added), and on creation give free 50 coinos to play with (just same as those gambling sites are giving "free" euros or USD)
2. NOw when people are addicted to games they need to top up coinos. Of course now we are having problem with exchanging coino to real money. Here is what I suggest:
    a) get an agreement with an exchange or
    b) make own exchange
and do exchange on this way:
sell orders:
1. 100 coinos - price 1$ Smiley
2. 200 coinos - price 1,1$
3. 120 coinos - price 1,2$

person wants to buy 370 coinos and price for him/her is 1,091892$

Payment is done via paypall or with something else.

That way coino is not only crypto to mine (100 000 people is interested) but it is also currency that is used for online gaming (milions of people interested)

And last but not least : find German marketing agency to advertise coino Smiley

I hope you guys understood what I was saying.

Thanks for your feedback Smiley

We have considered the sale of coino for fiat but there are significant regulatory issues involved in this so it will not be possible for the Coin(O) Community Team to offer this any time soon.

Obviously registered exchanges could do that as they already deal with fiat currencies and we will be speaking with a few of them later about this very issue.

Due to Paypal's policies it will not be possible to sell Coino via Paypal without violating there terms of use, so this will probably not be possible any time soon either.

That just leaves us with the mining and trading options and we are aware that both of these are somewhat barriers to non-crypto users.
However, having a Web Wallet does remove the need for users to have a wallet on there local machines and they will not need to keep it synced to the blockchain.
They can also currently sign up to a mining pool and have Coin(O) transferred automatically when they reach a pre-determined amount just by having a miner installed and configured on their machine.

So, we will do our best to make the mining pool option as easy as possible for them, even if that means we need to build our own mining pool with reasonable defaults where they only need there wallet address to join. We will also try to support as many GPU's and configurations as possible using a tool that has already been built by one of the members of the Coin(O) community.

This will all start to happen once we begin to release more games into the wallet.

Just wanted to say the web wallet and connecting online gaming to it is a damn good idea. It's definitely a good step in making use of a cryptocurrency for real world applications. So many other coins out there frankly have no use to them at all other than for trading. This could really become big if prominent gaming companies and the enormous number of gamers out there start to adopt this idea.

You guys are doing awesome as new devs. Keep up the great work!

Thanks.

Once the games engine API is firmed up and we begin to get more traction behind Coin(O) we will start to engage with Indi Game developers as well.

Keep an eye on this space going forward, it's going to get exciting Smiley

We just launched our new pool http://www.swissminers.com also featuring COINO.

Enjoy a high performance Node.js backend and mutlipool/coinswitching. Come in, find out and enjoy mining.

Hi.

First of all, good luck with your new venture.

However, I cannot find Coin(O) in your coins list. Secondly, some of our other community members reported that you are on the wrong block chain so I assume you have taken Coin(O) off line for now.

To make sure you have the correct wallet and are on the correct block chain please make sure you have the wallet source code from the current Git, NOT the original Git.

You MUST be running the code you can download from the Git link at http://www.coinocoin.com and NOT FROM www.coino.org or the code linked to on the first post of this thread.

Regards

Hi People

The architecture of the coino web wallet https://wallet.coinocoin.com has just been updated

There are not many changes you will see in this release except for the support of proper websockets in the games engine as opposed to the previous long polling XHR requests.
This will have an impact on mobile devices as the games will now be more responsive and will not drain your batteries as was happening before Smiley

There were a couple of changes in the Coin(O)Slot game regarding user feedback in the form of flashing lights when you win and the play button turning red when a spin is in play.

This isn't a big change visually, but it is an important change that lays the groundwork for future developments.

The next release will have automatic balance updates across all clients you have open when you send or receive a payment or win or lose during game play.

Importantly, the new architecture lays the groundwork for support of multi player games in the wallet. Not just games like Texas Hold'm Poker, but real first person shooters and massive multi plater games such as the likes of World of Warcraft Smiley We are currently looking at working on these types of games for you.

The Coin(O) web wallet is absolutely unique in the Crypto Currency world purely because of the embedded games engine. We want to take this concept further and we have had some feedback from users about future features.
Some of these features we are currently looking at, that are not mentioned above, and will be delivered in future releases are as follows :

1. Split the game transactions from normal transactions.
2. Inbuilt block explorer
3. Live Coin(O) Pool and exchange details
4. And of course .... New and exciting games including - gambling - arcade - multiplayer

The next release will support a simpler sign up process alongside the current hash code sign up process. This new process will not be as secure as the current hash code process so should NOT be used if you intend to hold large amounts of coins in your web wallet. However, it will be more user friendly to non-crypto users but will only be as secure as your choice of password. You have been warned Smiley

Also, we would like to say that we intend to have a new basic website in the next week, nothing impressive to start with, but a place to start accumulating Coin(O) information and a spring board for a new identity. Once this is released we will start a brand new Coin(O) bitcointalk thread, IRC channels and social network presences.
The reason we have to do this is because we do not have admin access to the current threads and forums etc and new Coin(O) users, as well as some of our old friends returning after a time away, are getting confused with information displayed in the ANN (Op) #1 post....

We hope you enjoy the changes we are making and hope to see you around for the foreseeable future Smiley

Please remember this, we the new Coin(O) community team are NOT the original dev's and we did not pre-mine or insta-mine anything. We are a small dedicated team that want to see Coin(O) succed
and we are doing our best to make this happen.
We cannot offer the community 'giveaways' or 'bounties' in the future unless YOU the community choose to donate to the Community Wallet.
NO Community Team member will directly benefit from any of these donations and we will, unfortunately, have to keep our day jobs for the foreseeable future Sad

BUT if you would like to donate Coin(O) to the Community Wallet to support Coin(O)'s future then please feel free to donate whatever you can to the following community wallet address :  UWny7ri39ZxdBcTCvNE1tzuPDTD898WvWj

IMPORTANT : For all those that are just seeing this post ----  You need to make sure you are running the CORRECT wallet software. IGNORE ALL download links, including the links on the first post in this ANN, with the exception of the wallets listed at http://www.coinocoin.com. That means the ONLY valid wallets for the current Coin(O) blockchain are the wallets listed at http://www.coinocoin.com NOT www.coino.org or any other location......

If you do not yet have a Coin(O) web wallet then please do sign up and get yours now from https://wallet.coinocoin.com and enjoy. At least this wallet will always be guaranteed to be the latest version and no blockchain download to your system required Smiley

I think some pages ago somebody announced that this is in process... but you are right, there is much confusion on domain and wrong wallets ...

Any idea why they'd never show up?

Hi crackfoo

It seems that this wallet address exists and the transaction id is valid on the current Coin(O) blockchain, and this amount shows in your wallet balance.

Please make sure you have downloaded the correct wallet from www.coinocoin.com and you should see this transaction arrive.

Is there anyway to contact Coinwarz and get COINO properly referred to... ?

http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency/coins/coino

All sorts of wrong info on here..

http://www.coinwarz.com/contact

Any now that I see this... I used the the info from coinwars to get the src... which is WRONG... damnit!

A few updates - Coinwarz was updated to show the correct website a little while ago.  They will stop sending people to the wrong wallet.

As well, this thread was updated as best we can.  We don't have access to the original poster's account- but the first reply now includes instructions to not refer to the information in that first post.

In the coming days a new bitcointalk thread will be started to Coino and this one will be deprecated.
