Any interest in groestlcoin ? https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/anngrs-groestlcoin-1st-to-activate-segwit-building-lightning-network-525926

Was cpu only for about 2 hours...
There's a bounty for an nvidia gpu miner: standalone gpu miner (NVidia)     120*512=61440

Tried it, blocks don't come easily

stop thinking that we aren't already all over it Wink

because we are.

However this time we ran into technical glitches due to last minute changes to their CPU mining
software. They changed the code on release, which we did not notice.

What OS are you guys running? And do you start the .bat file through any special instruction or something?
Win 7 x64. No special instructions. I have a PNY card too. I suggest you try decreasing your overclock significantly. Mine runs at 1333mhz core, no where near 1400mhz. YAC won't come close to 100% TDP power consumption, but you should be able to get 3.4-3.5kh/s.

Run x86 version of cudaminer.
cudaminer.exe --algo=scrypt-jane -H 2 -L 2 -i 0 -l t64x1 -b 4096 -m 1

I am on Win7 64 and I run the commands through a shortcut on my desktop.

Might want to check your BIOS settings and see if your card is running in Gen 1 mode? can't think of anything else but then again I am far from one of the smartest people in this thread  Grin

To the top three guys, I tried those initially and tried them again, but they just gave me 0.01, 0.035 kh/s.

I've tried restarting it, doing all kinds of stuff, but this launch config:

--algo=scrypt-jane:YAC -d 2 -l t64x1 -i 0 -m 1 -L 2 -H 2

Just doesn't seem to work. I'm just stuck at 2.3kh/s with 80% power usage and less than 500MB usage.

Just tested it again to be sure.

MSI 750ti no OC gets 3.2kh/s with those settings. Not sure what is wrong with your setup.  Huh

I have the issue a lot with cudaminer running under full load.

I have now, with the advice from someone else, fixed it by going into device manager and right clicking on the card then disable it. Right click again and reenable it. It gets my card running back at full speed.

I have no idea what is putting the card under full capacity but this helps me from rebooting the machine. If your card is the main one I would say probably reboot the machine.

If it is on a riser not sure how to fix that.

Once you get the card running at 98-100% load you should be at 3.3-3.5 kh/s

I got two new PNY GTX 750 ti's today.

So at 1400Mhz (Core) and +500 (memory), I'm only getting 2.3Kh/s on YAC. I tried it on both of my rigs and getting the same values. I also fine tuned the launch config, none else but this was the best that worked for me:

-H 1 -C 2  -i 0 -b 8192 -L 7 -l t100x1

I can't say that I'm impressed, was expecting more.

It is the power usage and mem usage with the issue you are having.

Try that  Wink

Or this:

-s 10 --algo=scrypt-jane:YAC -d 0,1 -i 0 -C 2 -b 8192,4096 -L 6,2 -l t12x32,t4x16 -m 1

780 and 750ti, 7.3kh/s and 3.45kh/s respectively.

I had gtx 760 and sold it to buy a 750 ti for minig. For scrypt the both mine with 300khs , overclocked. For minig they have the same results , but 750 ti burns 3 times less power. Thats all. Grin

I already have a 760 for gaming, which I use for casual mining.

I'm asking this because I'd like to correlate what I have with the most popular nvidia mining card. I'm seeing results of plenty 750ti's and rarely my own. If someone tells me that, from personal experience, a 760 is on avg x% faster or slower than a 750ti, I know what to expect. My intuition is that they are equivalent even if it's apples and oranges, 256 bits and more cuda cores on one side, efficient scheduling and advanced instructions on the 750.

For example I get 5Mh/s on heavycoin and 145 Kh/s on vert. That's with core = 1280 and mem = 1650. Is this what to expect?

Also, I ask again, how do I undervolt my 760? MSI 3.08 beta failed to load, and 2.31 doesn't allow voltage control. Asus Gpu tweak doesn't work either. I believe I screwed up somewhere, but if you know another way, please help. Edit: nevermind, I need to fix my installation

So, what is faster? A 750Ti or a 760?

Something else... how do you undervolt Nvidia cards?

For mining 750ti is way better...in every regard.

As for my problem with hvc, it's not overclocking nor stability. Other mining programs work fine, games work fine, clocks stay pegged at boost clocks (custom bios).

It's just way lower hash, maybe the coin changing difficulties changed how hash rates are measured similar to primecoin's chains per day figures?

for games 760 for minig 750 ti is way ahead with its power consumption / khs ratio.
