christian have you had a chance to try out your 780 with the new cudaminer yet?
be interesting to see what you can find out

Nope. No compute 3.5 device anywhere near.

UPDATE: keccak.cu now works when built for sm_30 with -maxrregcount=63.  -> 10% speed gain.

Just be aware that the resulting binary will only run scrypt-jane on Compute 3.0 devices then. Oops Wink

Well, I'm having some issues with the scrypt windows binary...

I was happily mining at 716kh/s with my GTX 780 Windforce at 1267mhz core and I tried higher clocks and crashed.

Then I restarted and whenever I try to mine scrypt cudaminer won't make my card go past 953mhz (stock non-boost clocks?).
I have a custom bios now that removes boost and can mine other coins at 1329mhz core with 1100mv only but cudaminer is still pegged at 953mhz core.

Any ideas?

EDIT: I second the donation part...cudaminer is my favorite mining program now, the dev is really ahead of the game. Cheesy

Bump...sucks that I can't mine anything other than PTS right now Sad

how much CPM do u get with your nvidia card?

I was running with -L16 -lK192x32

and was there a -D on the command line too?

yes it was there. I rebuild everything (and redownload it)
Ok, I rebuild everything from scratch, and the performance are unfortunately lower...
Everything is validating around 130Mhash with -L92 -K192x24
with the previous parameter -L16 -K192x32, it is rather 100Mhash

off topic: MRC is going up right now

Anyone compile windows binaries yet?

cheers!

I'd do it if I had any clue.

Is there any way of compiling FOR Windows ON Linux?

not including CUDA code.

Ok well... how to compile on Windows then?

Even a link to a relevant guide or something would be great if you don't have time to tell!
(I have the dependencies at least..)

Tried this build on quark Smiley

http://oi58.tinypic.com/2sb4c34.jpg

highly suspect, as Quark is not a SHA3 coin - unless there are more Quarks out there than I know about.

QRK actually uses SHA-3 (keccak) + blake, bmw, grøstl, JH and skein

I don't mine quark myself, so I may be wrong here. I just wanted to try it on real values so I dl quark and I don't get any coins, and on a pool my miner doesn't even show up. I probably have to solve the other algoritms also. Quark has a few doesn't it?

edit: I used '-a keccak' only

the hash doesn't show up at all

you are running something like this right?

./cudaminer --algo=keccak -d gtx780 -L 92 -l K192x24 --benchmark -D

This should help you figuring out if your 450 kHash/s are real or not.
hmm, I don't get the line at all...

you're running keccak hashing with extra -D flag and no good hashes appear? Ouch...

the hash doesn't show up at all
I try to recompile with maxregcount = 96
