Guys we need to get things going on Mintpal ! At this rate we will never reach the top of the list so I will share a way we can speed things up:

Mintpal allows voting 24x day.
Set your auto log out to 24h and open a signed in window of https://www.mintpal.com/voting on one of your folding machines.
Find Curecoin from the list and set your mouse pointer on the vote button.
Download an autoclicker/autominer and set it to click in every 3610seconds. You can get one from here for example: http://www.garyshood.com/rsclient/
This way you dont have to go do it manually all the time and you only need to go and sign in to Mintpal once a day but you are still getting 24 votes per day for Curecoin.

If just 10 people would do this we would already get 240 votes a day. If 50 people do it we would get 1200 votes a day which would get us on the top of the list pretty quick.
As Mintpal is by far the best and biggest altcoin exchange getting listed there would already draw some well needed attention

PS If you dont have a Mintpal account it only takes 2 minutes to create one. If you need some coins to get some trading history I can send you a few Heavycoins which are worth next to nothing once my wallet syncs up  Wink
Automated voting will result in a de-listing from the voting list.

i have a question:

  • My FAH showd a PPD of 850.000 (6 x GPU R9 280x)
  • At cryptobullionpools.com my account show only a 133.000 PPD for 30 hours and current balance only 4.55 CURECOIN

whats going on? F@H show 850.000 PPD but the cryptobullionpools.com show 133.000 PPD for a miserable 4.55 CURE = 0.00364BTC

There is no way i will keep folding at this pace

850.000 (6 x GPU R9 280x) is what you get, it will vary depending on works etc.... so this is not an issue.
Your payout is lagging 2days, you need to have patience and wait, you will get your coins, you will get around 25 CURE for 6 280x.
I have 24 and I get around 100 CURE, from 90 to 100 depending on ...... weather and winds... Smiley

Give it time. I dont know what calculation cryptobullion uses but the first days are not credited correctly. You will be seeing accurate stats after 48-72h.

Yes, we need to get it started. I've been paying people 0.01 curecoin to vote and so far have paid out 100 curecoin. I got some trade history but it is still not letting me vote for some reason saying I have no trade history.

Wasn't even aware of this coin until now after searching for some new sha256d coins to mine on seems a nice coin and doing something for curing. But is anything actually going towards the cause and been donated to them or is this just marketing to cure for cancer but not actually helping the cause. I have seen many coins with stuff like this in the past and they never actually did anything. If this is actually doing something than nothing than am more than interested to mien and also donate providing its going to the cause.

If you're on the sha256d part, you're just securing the network/blockchain. However, if you're on the folding part using GPU/CPU, you're actually solving problems which will help design medicine for diseases such as Alzheimers, Diabetes and Cancer. (And F@H was started way before bitcoin just fyi)

This is not like other coins like Watercoin or CureCancerCoin (I can't remember their exact names) where they just sell coins and donate to a cause.

Where are the pools and software for cpu as can put towards it and hows does this actually work. Am assuming that cpu generated coin goes towards the foundation for earnings etc. Ill need to read up on it more as only read a little up on it. But does look interesting.

For CPU and GPU there's only one pool due to the nature of F@H and the guide can be found here (https://www.cryptobullionpools.com/about). CPUs and GPUs fold while ASICs mine so it's a very good ratio/payout system. So by folding using a GPU or CPU, you'll be sending results directly to Stanford.

If you run an EC2 instance, you can actually be on par with most GPU systems due to the way F@H gives points (using the bigadv option), but you'll need something like a 24 core / 32 core system to fold those work units.

Thank you for the details and information their. I will look to putting some gpus to use providing I can pay for energy as its getting expensive in UK and looking to now move to scrypt asics for the future maybe be abale to use some of the scrypt asics on it if they have the algo for it or maybe come out with it.

Just a reminder: use 14.4 drivers. Gave me 35% more coins.  Shocked
14.6 is the latest.
AMD claims up to 25% speed-up in some games.

I'm getting 570k ppd on a rig that had 500k ppd.

That would be roughly the equivalent of a 350,000 PPD increase for me.  Definitely worth it.  Consequently, tonight I'll be setting that up.  Thanks for the information!  Have you had any stability issues?
No new issues with 14.6 for me.

My experience with 14.6 with multi-card computers using 290X TRIX cards has been horrible so I wanted to post it real fast.  I installed the 14.6 drivers on 6 machines before I starting rolling back to the 14.4.  I could not go more than 10 minutes without a Windows cash on Windows 7 x64.  The one machine where I have a single 290X TRIX card has not shown the same problems but literally every machine that I have these drivers installed and has two 290X TRIX cards has BSD'd at least once and some machines have BSD'd several multiple times in less than an hour.

Any idea of estimated profit from the gpu folding. I don't mind helping but I need to at least break even.

Steve

1 7950 = 110k PPD = 3.67 Curecoins a day = $1.84/day = don't know what GPUs or profitability you have so I can't give you better numbers.

I've been trying to setup a Curecoin pool using NOMP but haven't had any luck yet, is there something out of the ordinary with block submissions? I keep seeing messages like this when submitting a block:

We thought a block was found but it was rejected by the daemon, share data: {"job":"10a2","ip":"127.0.0.1","worker":"bsom.1","height":2903,"reward":13000000,"difficulty":106.83760684,"shareDiff":"78839945.97002709","blockDiff":3675593.04712938,"blockDiffActual":3675593.04712938,"blockHash":"000000000000003679e92759a80c36f6f40d2a370bf9f03ce0567b707358369b"}

Using the latest wallet with the following coin config:

{
    "name": "Curecoin",
    "symbol": "CURE",
    "algorithm": "sha256"
}

I have the same issues as well. I am very interested in the answer.

Same issue here, too

You don't necessarily have to donate coins to the cause.  Any SHA256 mining that is done is used to support/secure the network like other mineable coins, that's one part.  The other part is protein folding using GPUs/CPUs.  The work that is done during the protein folding are actually part of ongoing experiments being hosted through Stanford.  The folding side is true distributed computing, llike previous "@home" projects like SETI@home.  So in this case, your work IS your donation to the project, and they are rewarding your effort with some coins as well.

The CureCoin team is the fastest growing team in this particular folding project community: http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/team_summary.php?s=&t=224497
Team CureCoin is #19 and rapidly rising up the ranks.
