My spells of genesis collection alone has probably paid for months of my folding (if I sell this sweet dragon I got).

May I ask you how you got that dragon? Me I just have FDCARD X.YZ on my XCP wallet... Is there something to do to convert them into actual cards?
Thanks!

Quick question about the latest windows wallet download:

... just updated three wallets I manage to version 1.3.4 (to get on a version-tracking branch).
One question: should the wallets now be automatically unlocked for minting/staking when they are first opened, or do they still require console input?

Code:
    walletpassphrase 99999999 true

If I just misunderstood the new tooltip, that's no problem, but it would be nice to have that option as a toggle in the future.

Thanks in advance.

yes same exact code to unlock for stake minting, and for sanity check you can do getinfo and see your protocol version there should be 60007 and wallet 1.3.4 but it sounds like you are all set.

OK - yes, I see 60007/1.3.4. Wallets are all working. First PoFMined staking transactions came in this morning and payouts from the pool arrived this evening. Looks good (still would like auto-minting option, but that's a minor nit).
Looking forward to the 1.3.5 branch - Thanks

quick question -are you the fellow folding as penny something? There is a big folder out there that is not merge folding and they are missing out on ~2x profit...

To clear this up further, if you look at the amount of people that have switched to merge folding with FLDC + XCP assets there is definantly a drive for profit. The simple little calculator does not include the spells of genesis collection I earned or Scottcoins / powcoins / pepecash was a recent bonus etc etc... My spells of genesis collection alone has probably paid for months of my folding (if I sell this sweet dragon I got). Anyways on the other side of that there are some folders that would be folding less probably with their outdated equipment but would be folding even if curecoin did not exist. About 1 year ago Id say was when we had the highest amount of non profit seeking folders. By looking at the amount of merge folders though you can see the profit seeking is gaining popularity in folding (which was what we have been aiming for of course).  -- Simple answer, its still mixed but more are seeking profits lately

No, I'm ComputerGenie with a few letters missing because of the addy limitations. I'm not one of the "big" folders (although in the top 400), just a single GTX1080; however, I do merge with the "ALL". Although FLDC and mixed bag of "junk" aren't much per month, it does add up over time.

My main income is running my ASICs, which are far less profitable on Curecoin than folding is (and I'm guessing that's by design). That being said there's still profit to be made mining as well as folding (not Bill Gates size scratch, but profit is profit). Grin

For those who are not just trolling, keep an eye out for curecoin 1.3.5 in the next week or so.

Changelog?

1.3.5 basically will be better check pointing, alert system, and active testnet.. oh most important for now is version tracking so we can make the changes we need to move to 2.0 properly. Same thing you see in the peers tab of btc and some other coins basically and getting more use out of it. I know btc is retiring their alert system but we want it active for curecoin long enough to upgrade to curecoin2.0 at least. As Vorksholk said we should hopefully have some kind of unveiling late this month. Either way Im going to continue prepping and bettering curecoin 1.x.

I recently had a talk with a consultant from Morgan Stanley and he is working with us on this aspect.

Care to elaborate on this topic?

He's agreed to sign an NDA and proved he is wanting to help us. If you want to join the team and prove the same then sure! We are always looking for more core team members that know their crypto. I do pay in curecoins FYI.

...CURECOIN folders, however, with very few exceptions (EdOkkada for example apparently donates all of his coin recieved, but my research shows he's not exactly poor) are in fact folding for profit, or at least for enough $$ to pay the electric bill...
As the single largest Curecoin ASIC miner, and folding ~11 million PPM, I'd have to say you are sadly misinformed (that or you're talking to/about those that would seek to fold with outdated equipment that isn't even strong enough to play most new games, musch less fold/mine).

quick question -are you the fellow folding as penny something? There is a big folder out there that is not merge folding and they are missing out on ~2x profit... Ed as mentioned is a generous man that folds because he can. He is a technological game changer that was creating computer tech we all use today back when some people reading this were still having mum's tit in mouth.  Its been good to him in return(s). Very smart guy indeed. He actually just emailed me about donating some gpu's to team curecoin to sell or fold with or w.e. So shout out to Ed for being a big supporter of curecoin. The coins he donated helped me recently secure some time from another developer to speed things along with the curecoin wallet.

Folders are also not folding for free, how hard is that to get through your skull?

Actually, the majority of them are - but there seems to be more PPD being done for some sort of reward (via CureCoin/FoldingCoin or for EVGA Rewards) than for free in recent times.

No this is cloud mining...  Undecided

If I have  multi-million pharma business and I want the CURE team to fold some proteins for me, Can I buy from them the folding power? The answer is NO. Because curecoin give the folding power away for free 'in the name of science'.

Yea we are already making attempts to approach that path. Since you know everything though, why dont you negotiate that deal since you make it sound so easy and we will cut you in for 90% of the profit.

Really though you think we haven't thought of that? Get lost. I see lots of "advice" but no solutions to any proposals. I recently had a talk with a consultant from Morgan Stanley and he is working with us on this aspect. Maybe you are better than him and can speed up the negotiations? If not please stop acting like this is "simple"

My point actually is that they should focus on how to sell the GPPD, and it should be ASAP because without it this coin has no value

If you have such social security system, then it's this 'system' that pay the bill. Nothing is free.
