Another question please
The currencies currently are about 2000000 ... what is the inflation rate and how much will they be in the end?
Thank you

u can see that from the grafic in the answer i gave ya before

DMDv3 will start with ~25% inflation and inflation will after a little flat stage constant decrease and end at 1% even a bit below in like 10 years

then the daily produced DMD will be ultra scarce 100 DMD! (average 1500 DMD today)

theoretical we will reach our coin max of 4.38 million DMD in like 30 years
BUT the whitepaper will explain why we never will reach it
(hint: there will be a world first unique deflation feature explained in our whitepaper)

How many Mdm coins do you want to have a masternode and when will it be operational? In August?
What will be the reward for the masternode?
 IP  statico or dynamic?

10000 DMD
aim is august
60% of yearly DMD coin rollout will go into Masternodes
40% into block creators (3/4 of blocks are POS 1/4 are POW)
regarding IP it required static IP or a onion hidden service both paths able run MN

how much of this goi to a single masternode or a single POW or POS miner
deepens on the competition

if 50% of total coins is in MN and 25% of total coins is active in POS
then u can expect 10000 DMD in a masternode still earn a bit more than same amount DMD in POS mode

regarding expect coin rollout the next 30 years u can see it here:

preview coinrollout DMD v3
similar coin rollout speed and time until total coins 4.38 million reached (after 2045...)
but with blockbased curve reward formula that adapt rewards seamless each block

(coinrollout spikes at historic coinrollout is because some big DMD owners just open their wallet very rare and then claim enormous DMD
(worst example (biggest spike) the guy who owned 40k DMD staked 30k DMD in a day after turn his wallet online first since nearly two years and then dumped all 70k on market)
a issue that will be solved at DMD v3 constant activity earn constant rewards no activity earn no rewards)

thank you
very very good :-)

i have heard dmdv3 will use xevan algo for pow.. is it true ?  when are you goin to roll out the v3 release ?

its true when its in at first release
but yes its now planed to use xevan algo for the POW part of hybrid blockchain security

whitepaper 13th june (4th DMD birthday)
wallet release  ~august thats the plan

I'm assuming a MN will require not only the fixed IP (or known onion), but also some pretty decent computational power, right?

Can you give some estimate as to what the CPU/RAM requirements will be?

not at stage1
there be able run a node is enough performance
so even a raspberryPi could be a MN (1 GB RAM and enough HDD space to store the chain)

when later additional services will be added it might be possible additional requirements arise
but we also evaluate if such added services can be opt-in or mandatory for each node
if the services have extra fees it can be opt-in if offer service are part of the normal MN reward expectation
then each node must be able perform them

Just what I wanted the hear... :-)

Thanks!

My last couple of important questions for now: 1) will the financial advantages of the MN's be much greater than just staking the same amount (I know it depends on the number of MN's, but generally speaking)?

yes even if 50% of total coins are active at MN and 25% of total coins are active at POS the MN will earn per 10000 DMD better
that 50% of total coins is a very ambitious goal and if less are in MN then the income per MN is even better
we did analyse the seesaw mechanics of pivx and our decision to not use it because the normal competition reward mechanics more then enough make sure there will always be MN and always be people compete to find POS blocks the rewards just crazy increase if not enough people take part that for sure DMD will find there way to where they needed
to keep up the POS part of hybrid security or to keep the MN in a very healthy range of nodes

Quote
2) What is the main benefit that MN's give to DMD (network security? funding? ownership incentives?)?

there is 4 main points

first they are 24/7 fullnodes with static IP (or known onion hidden service name) that means they build the backbone of block propagation and make find stable peers super easy

second they provide a peer to peer masternode network that enable to run masternode powered services
mixTX and quickTX are just the basic two more will follow

third they will become the backend part of the next generation of masternode powered light wallets
in that area DMD will try to adapt and launch the very ambitious dash evolution project towards the brand design of DMD
we not aim to compete in dash strong points against them but we utilize their technology adapted to our brand design to power our niche services

and fourth is keep DMD Diamonds scarce and a good storage of wealth solution with a income aspect the relative high requirement to run a DMD MN make people think twice before sell a part of their MN coins and lose access to the MN income stream. this added with POS which also remove coins from exchanges keep DMDs a hard time to gather and fullfil the task gather 10000 to start a masternode will be a real quest for glory. and one of the dash evolution parts we will add and which is powered by  masternode network will be a lightwallet savings option which basically means blopckchaintech secured u borrow coins to a shared masternode and get a part of the income (all the dash evolution based mechanics wont be part of initial release in summer)

I'm going to be keeping a very close eye on this.

 Cool

Would I be able to double my chances with twice as much DMD in the same address? Let's say I have 1000 DMD. Would it be better to have it all in the same address, or split into 2 different addresses? Which would be the most profitable? And to what point would it be profitable to continue putting all your DMD into the same address?

same behavior in dmd v2 and dmd v3
automated split/merge work more efficient if coins are in one address
but beside that each transaction compete for itself
so the more transactions u have size 300-500 the better
and split merge mechanics will try get ur coins into that size by itself
it will even eat up MN reward dust and combine them into proper size if the wallet is configured that rewards are send to the POS address
(at DMD v2 its smaller there coin pile size is between 10-180 DMD and split merge mechanics more focused on coin age then coin size)

Nicely explained and easily understood. What is the optimized pile size for staking?

same as DMDv2 DMDv3 will take care about split and merge by itself
no time consuming micromanagement with coincontrol needed

if ya ask a goal of coins where run wallet in 24/7 POS mode make sense at DMDv3 wallet
then i would say 300-500 DMD this should give ya enough POS "miningpower" to find a block every few days

What are the settings for the parameter now?
changeaddress=

its a optional setting if u want all transactions change send to a certain address
i suggest use ur main POS address also as change address

Quote
If there are two addresses - MN and POS.
Now need to save 2 private keys, right?

u should always have a up2date backup of ur wallet.dat AND additional of or main addresses a backup of ur exported private key
but keep in mind everyone able access ur private key can access ur coins
store backup of wallet.dat at different local that normal wallet (not same computer!)
store private keys in non digital form on a secure location
maybe try find a system a bit more difficult to know what the numbers are than write on a paper dmdprivate key:   8gua79hJGjzhFG98hoioihkjgktGVjhgujh7klökjlizd4ik90hkjhg
it already help if u change the first number and write a wrong description

digital master data:   1gua79hJGjzhFG98hoioihkjgktGVjhgujh7klökjlizd4ik90hkjhg
broad telecom code: 7tGVjhgujh7klökjlizd4ik90hkjhgua79hJGjzhFG98hoioihkjgjk

someone who not really know what he can expect will never find out what this mean

but u know by the first letter of the description words its DMD and BTC

For coins that will be transferred to the MN address, the age of the coins is not important as for POS?
In other words, how to transfer coins without losses.

in DMD v3 coin age have no meaning at all regarding how migh rewards are
just a min age to a have a chance to mint again

Quote
For POS now it is necessary to keep a wallet 24/7 online? For many users it will not be very convenient.
this was a hard decision we did take not easy
more understanding about our reasoning u will get when u read our whitepaper (will be released 13 june)

MN and POS is this in one wallet? Or MN and POS in different wallets?
MN and POS can be active inside the same wallet yes
but the same coins can be only used as MN collateral or take part in POS

so example u have address1 and u did sen there 10000 DMD as a masternode collateral
and u have address2 where u have other DMD transactions

then address1 can be activ as MN and address2 can take part in POS

u will even have the possibility to choose all MN income will be automatic send to address2

Quote
For POS also need a static IP?
no (and even for MN not if u set up a onion hidden service)

Quote
how many approximately MN will bring DMD per month?
the income per MN deepens on how many MN are active (less MN active more often each MN get a payout)
same for POS on how much coins compete for finding POS blocks
same for POW on how much hashrate compete to find POW blocks
but in POS/MN case u can expect it to be higher then the annual POS rewards as we have now
(why? because now inactive addresses take part in coin rollout and later only active nodes take part in coin rollout
(same size cake less people to share the cake = bigger cake piece for each ))
