Hi all,

I don't think this legendary thing is a good idea and could bear negatively, as who wants to pay $$$ for what is at best double return, when the future of this coin and every coin is so speculative anyway, its double return of ??, and the return rate will half soon anyway so you will be soon getting later what you get now.

This concept has been created in the mindset of a high value coin where everything goes well. That people who buy in will get an even greater value return. This is all pie in the sky mindset, and I'm saying this as a holder of the coin. It would be a good investment IF everything worked out at the best and utmost for the coin, and I hope it does. So this is a big gamble for anyone wanting to buy in, but as with any coin its a gamble just holding onto a coin anyway.

I have said all along that value only comes with real world exchange for goods and services, forget the gimmicks and sort this out and the sky's the limit.

I'm always encouraged by the teams efforts and very happy to be holding this coin. But this is just what I think, feed back if you will.

I understand that Foundation has plans that needs funding, but perhaps not all community members have the ability to pay around 3 BTC for a legendary address, or have the time and knowledge to join Foundation. Why not put up a DMD address for continuous donations? For example, I would gladly donate a percentage of my DMD POS to support the Foundation. Perhaps that is not much, but if other community members also are willing to donate, one way or another, it will at least contribute to future plans.

regarding legendary thx for point towards a failed project
that many people did believe in

now what would have been the people behind there would have been honest
people not buy a ferrai and travel around the world with ur money
and not oversell hot air


but first of all our path is very different
we similar related to world of warcraft legendary items
or like 100s other ways the word legendary can be used

and second we true did think that effects throught whole coinrollout until the end
the positive effect of this funding round with mininmal longterm impact on coinrollout

the whole success of this project legendary10 i take the full responsibility on my own
shoulders including the logical steps in case it wont be supported

its the only form of funding 2016 with give the people who take part something of real value in return

no fear multi cloud and website will run by us for years

but in my case my role in the future even the membership in dmd diamond foundation is linked to the success of this

its not a make or break it
but a make it or let others make it

so if there is new people alternative paths into future
then speak up

not as a clever comment
but as one with plans and willing join the foundation to make them happen
not only with words but with actions and funding possibilities

I am a great supporter of DMD but I can't help thinking of another "Legendary" from way back when (Altcoin time):

As much as I'd like to avoid sounding like a broken record, the ROADMAP, should be published before anyone should even consider buying "a legendary10" address.

It's just common sense, really.  Let alone essential for investing.

@Cryptonit or @popshot - is there any way you could outline the funding guidelines for 2016 so we know what the plan is going forward?  I for one could donate a bit of BTC towards this goal and I am sure others in the community would also do so.

there is  a minimum funding needed to give this all purpose
its done to bring dmd forward to reach goals

in the past that was done on donation base and trust me the foundation members donated lot time and own money

but we know that kind of people is rare so this time we give something in return the legendary 10

bids starting at 0 wont work because funding goals not guranteed
its easy like a kickstarter project if the funding goals not reached
it wont happen

but if both legendary from phase one dont reach at least 5 btc to project will not be lauched?

I disagree - Since foundation members are also holding diamonds - they should also be able to bid like anyone else.  I vote yes for foundation members to bid on the auction.  I agree with Bogdan - just bad timing with Christmas close at hand.  I personally do not have additional discretionary funds at this moment.  Also, the bid should be open and let the market determine the value.  A starting bid at 2.6 BTC for me is too steep atm.

I happen to agree with your first statement in that a large amount of people (myself included) have already spent our limits for the Holiday Season. And with the falling index pricing on diamonds this year...well, are these prices realistic?

I am, somewhat, divided about your comment of allowing Members to bid. Upon deliberation, I think I like the rules, as are. No bidding for Foundation Members.

I think the idea with the legendary10 is great, but the timing is bad, because people hardly buys now BTC when the price is double compared with the rest of the 2015 year.

You can change the rules so you, members of DMD foundation, can also bid on the legendary10 addresses. I don't see why you can't have an asset like this if you badly want it

i can understand that the limited number of 10 and each of it a unique crypto asset

keep in mind ur coins get more weight each day up to day 30

Yes, than the smaller coins in your wallet then longer you wait the POS award.
But your wallet shows  only the approximate  time to find block.
This does not mean that after 271 days, you get the first POS income..

Someone said recently he did not see a single site with games for the Diamond.

It seems, ur amount is very small...the reason, why the wallet think, u need 271 days for staking...but of course u get earlier ur stakes

I am very late to jump onboard with DMD, but I managed to grab a few with the little I have to work with. I have everything set, and trying to stake. Explain why the wallet says I am staking but will be waiting for 271 days? And, it is all synced, etc. Wow...long time to go for me. LOL
