Is the pool operator responding?? Ive had a few people move to my pool from this pool and I am worried the OP is ignoring people.  If you need a backup pool consider HashFaster's @ https://doge.hashfaster.com

i tried your pool and had an instant payout. very nice and i switched all my miners to hashfaster. I have no nervs dealing with scyrptpool anymore.

On the other hand, I get more Doges here than I have gotten at other pools, so will keep on mining here for the time being.
None of the other pools mentioned in this thread comes near the hash rate of this one, making mining here more profitable, if at a slightly higher risk.

Hmm.  This pool is at 1.22 GH/s, which is 1220 MH/s.  It has a fee of 2%.  And it's not paying out currently, not sure if it ever will.

Multipool has 4911 MH/s pointing at DOGE atm, or 4.91 GH/s, and a fee of 1%.  And it pays out.

M

True, I should have added a caveat about this being only true for the doge only pools, and not Multipool.

But I, for some reason, prefer to mine a single currency and thus wil be sticking with this pool for the time being.
If you want to try another doge only pool, dogepool.net has been good with automatic payments and no down time for me..

You don't have to use the multiport on multipool -- you can mine on the DOGE port directly. Smiley

3 days requesting manual payment makes. I have not cashed. You can not change the manual payment. Keep getting "You already have an active manual payment request." And still no answer Phonetic or go through the thread. Does anyone know anything Administrator?

I had a manual payment go through on the 26th, and an automatic on the 28th, but get the same error message as others about "you already have a manual transfer active" if I try to manually transfer out my coins now.

Also, don't forget that it is Christmas, which can mean slight delays for any service.

like the others here, I would suggest netcodepool's dogecoin pool. consistent payouts, and they do cool raffles. they just had a raffle for 2 R9 290s, and right now we're in a Mugen tournament for LTC and DOGE prizes. won 5k just for being in the chatroom. you all know where to go! ;P

I'd recommend https://www.multipool.us.  Yes it runs more than DOGE, but DOGE has been when it's been mining consistently for quite a while now (as it's most profitable scrypt coin it supports right not).. and you can always mine DOGE directly.  At 1.5% fee it's cheaper, op has consistently responded to issues, and it has 6.5 GH/s right now on DOGE, which means low variance.  (I've seen it has high as 8.)

also, at least 2 different threads were started in /r/dogecoin about this pool and the failure of the operator to address the issues. I suggest users who have not received their payments and the other problems incurred report their problems in these threads and upvote them to get the word out there and warn other miners. here are the links.

I think it could be that pool owner has nothing left on his wallet due to his wrongly double payouts and so he can only payout things after new coins were generated, It's only a guess so don't nail me on the wall for this Smiley

Possible...but that calls into question the ethics of the miners who were double paid by mistake. If that happened, then ethically they stole from those who were the rightful owners of the overpayments. I don't know how you fix that other than create a ledger balance against the overpayment that transfers the amount back to the sender. Could that be why some people complained about coins disappearing from their wallets without their knowledge??? (Just sayin' - for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction).

If I understand what we are doing as pool miners [and feel free to correct me if I have this wrong], we (the miners) are lending our computing power (hashing) to the pool operator when we mine. I kind of think of it like miners taking on the role of the Federal Reserve in the US Treasury system to clear financial transactions and settle account balances.

Miners verify hashes - which in turn verifies the parent transaction. In turn, we (the miners) get paid for acting as clearinghouses for transactions by validating the hashes and the blocks that make up the entire chain of transactions since day one. As such, when we discover unauthorized transactions don't we have the ethical duty to reverse that transaction and report it as unauthorized. Otherwise how do we guarantee the integrity of the system?

In the real world, we all know that if our bank gave us $1000 that didn't belong to us, they would take it back within hours...right? I think that if cryptocurrency is to have any legitimacy as an alternative to cash, then at a very minimum the ledger balances have to be true. Otherwise I can pretend to be rich and you just have to take my word for it.

If Phonetic is out of coins and can not balance the ledger for his miners because some were double paid by mistake then that is a legitimate reason payouts have been slow. NOTE: I did NOT say it justifies the current situation.

But if that is the case, we have a bigger problem - miners who will abuse the pool and fellow miners to get what they want and damn anyone else.

Well said and excellent point.  However, I don't think there's a way to reverse the transaction.  It's up the integrity of the recipient to return them.  Considering the blatant greed I see from most people here, I think that's highly unlikely to occur.
