everything all right We are getting there, things are coming into place nicely. There is still a bit of work to be done to make sure we can have a successful Test Group A beta launch.
Our devs are ironing out the essential components for what we want to test during the first phase.

Interesting.. i always have few houndreds GB free.. is it enough to earn something? or we are talking about houndreds TB?
If the Burst crowd move over to this - in case this will get more profitable - I don't think a few GB or even TB be very profitable.
I mean hundreds..
when we will be able to see any calculation?
Until the beta is well underway and possibly after Test Group B, which includes rewards for sharing storage, it is difficult to estimate.
There will be a lot of feedback from users once we reach the second stage of the beta, bear with us.

They way u store file chunks and their size being kept pretty small should allow for most users to be able to host them. Of course if there is a very high demand for storage the more you have available, the more you may earn. Also very important is reliability, the more your DriveShare node is online the better the chance of it getting a contract (i.e. file chunk).

Looks cool! However I'm curious if there's any estimated upload speed requirement for a certain amount of disk space? Surely a crappy upload speed won't be able to support terabytes of data.
You will be uploading/downloading very small file chunks so consider that too. Until we start the beta it's difficult to estimate requirements.
A decent home broadband connection should suffice. Test Group A will provide some good stats.
