actually this year has not been a year favorable to the ico, i think next year will be the year of the sto and a bull market, with a bull market the project of dusk would have no difficulty to move forward...

It will be interesting to see if 2019 will be the year of STOs or if it is still too early due to the uncertainty regarding their regulation.
It will definetly not the year of ICO's i must say. So if there is something have luck about the market they are STO's.

They have initial tken sale on ETHFinex right now:

Also DUCK token will be listed to ETHFinex and probably Bitfinext after token sale. But they till not announced end of token sale...

$21 million is a huge success in this bear market no matter how they collected it. Fiat is probably the safer alternative right now.
5.5M until the current date, so it seems to me, but what is 1/4 of the desired value, and certainly are not far from performing. I wish good luck in advance at the end of the year and that everything goes well with the sale
You're talking about Dusk right? Because the other guy imo was talking about BWRE, which decided to do an STO for $21 M when everything will be ready
Yes, the 5.5 million Euro was the amount that BWRE already secured. Not sure how much DUSK got so far. Does anyone have an excact idea about how much funds they were able to raise?

They can put regulations on everything that is even remotely connected to crypto and they probably will, staring with USA. That still doesnt mean project would break the law, they just have to double check every step they make even for the future.
I believe it will happen in fact, they will try to blind in all the operations going in and out from these kind of projects, since the blockchain itself cannot be regulated.

Sounds like you have some... reservations about companies registered in Malta?
I did some googling and it turns out Malta is pioneering security token regulations, something I was not aware of. I do know Malta for being crypto friendly of course, especially since Binance moved there so it should not have come as a total surprise.
Malta could be a haven for crypto projects but I'm afraid the U.S. might interfere with some of them if they feel some of their regulations were violated and will exert efforts to make the project members answerable to them since Malta has an exiting extradition treaty with the U.S. Imho.
the goal of the US is to have control like that all over the world. so projects will have to comply with US rules.
That is also what I have in my mind but since this is a real project in contrast to scam projects, there is no worry to the community since all we have to do is abide certain regulations in order to avoid future issues that may arise.

How did BWRE decide to choose DUSK for their STO? I mean from all I have read it is promising tech, but was it not still in its research phase? Will the digital asset hub be production ready early 2019 as expected?

So BRWE is maltese right? I see Malta more and more involved in blockchain and crypto lately, maybe it's time to move there to find a more friendly enviroment .

Yes, many of crypto exchanges are registered there as well. May be this is related with their law or with low taxes there.
