So I have to take my words back. In the past I have said I thought it was a waste to travel the world to give presentations in a bear market, but it looks like they are making deals to get STO projects on their blockchain.

About their sale, did they pegged ethereum to some price or they are giving tokens with the daily value?
Maybe most of their sale is fiat cause the private sale conditions but i am curios about eth payments.

I would say they pegged it but am not sure, it would be a logical thing since ETH prices is changing a lot recently.

The only clue is this "The BWRE STO will begin sometime after the Dusk Network mainnet goes live in Q2 2019."

What existing privacy coins are similar to Dusk? What improvements have been made on the current algorithms. Are you familiar with the Veil Project
Well they are privacy focused security token which will also have capabilities like ethereum to launch other tokens.

I thought the STO was supposed to start quite soon, i don't understand why announce it now when there could be even delays before the platform it's ready to handle it.
This is also about the marketing of course, this news will be able to increase people's awareness about Dusk platform and make it become more attractive.It's quite obvious that the STO can't start before the DUSK platform isn't live. Now Dusk has its tokensale so it makes sense to show potential investors that there are already projects which are interested in hosting their STO on the DUSK platform. So it totally makes sense to announce it now, even though it will only start in a few months.
There are so many factors that determine the optimal time of publication.
How big is the userbase?
Which medium of publication do you use?
Are there other advertizements of big competitors or of crypto in general at the same time, where you can participate?
Are we in a bear or bull market and so on.
The thing is, you'll never know for sure afterwards if the other decision would have been better.

None i think. Dusk has similarities with other coins but it's it's much more then just a currency like that Veil project you talked about. Dusk is a platform.

Sounds like you have some... reservations about companies registered in Malta?
I did some googling and it turns out Malta is pioneering security token regulations, something I was not aware of. I do know Malta for being crypto friendly of course, especially since Binance moved there so it should not have come as a total surprise.
Malta could be a haven for crypto projects but I'm afraid the U.S. might interfere with some of them if they feel some of their regulations were violated and will exert efforts to make the project members answerable to them since Malta has an exiting extradition treaty with the U.S. Imho.
the goal of the US is to have control like that all over the world. so projects will have to comply with US rules.

Today there should be some more information about the STO coming, i wonder how will be conducted since the platform has not launched yet
They announced that they will have an STO named BWRE, they didn't say when, maybe it will happen only when the platform will be ready
And also their company has secured an initial investment of € 5.5 million.
5.5 million sounds nice, whatever secured means.
I think they have raised these 5-5 million or have a contract about getting them so it is already a quite successful project.
