IF, and say IF this hit bittrex then profit will be huge, as lately IPOs are only have a 3 - 7 BTC in total, and 5BTC for a 5% of a coin is not too bad, and certainly as you said pow is a long time, so not a lot of coins added in the beginning, meaning the power is all in the hands of the IPO investors, and the pre-mine are being used for bounties, so the only profit for the coin owner is in IPO and a few coins that are still available via premine.
