I like Ethereum, I think NEM will give ethereum a run for their money though.. Ethereum is good, but I wouldn't invest in something that's still proof of concept. The devs got too greedy.. They could have easily funded it with $2 million. That would be 13 full time devs at $150k salary a year.

Looks like you need +60% in 3 years and a triple up in 10 years to be break even.

If you buy other POW in the early phase you have to perform much much more.
Look at Cryptonite, there are 6 Mio coins at the moment. The max supply is 1.84 billion coins. So the price have to go up 300 times by the end of the mining. That looks like impossible.
