Here is a new blog post about the various Ethereum Alts.

thanks for this

I can't believe this thing had a market cap of only 50k USD.  Bought me a few on Polo and I think others will diversify as well. Smiley

Keep working hard.

thanks for answering the question about block times.  I still think 60 seconds is a bit slow, but it probably is not a deal breaker.

so another question for you guys.

how much in lock step is this fork to the original?  how active is the dev team in maintaining parity to the main branch?

This issue is mostly with making POW more efficient, once POS is rolled out we will most likely be dropping the blocktime to compete with 10 seconds or so.

Yes, we were just talking about this actually, since we will be updating to Homestead along with Ethereum. We will be keeping the block timing the same for now, but will likely be changing it once we switch to POS later.

The distribution is going well, and now is the time and mine/trade and get more EXP before POS starts.

You''l probably get a quicker answer on Slack.

It would be good if the devs ventured here a little bit more often - defaced hasn't posted for four days.

Guys, just a quick wanno do did wanted to ask about sending coins out my wallet is not easy peasy,

i did try before said wrong pwd,. or errors occured while sending coins out. somehow they did arrive on the right side
of the chain, at polo. now i am asleep
and no one around no access to my pc by unauthorized user or authorized just local.

this expanse wallet i have tells me show me that a withdrawal has been done by me.. hmm fucking weird right.

i thought the same, my mined coins gone.. whaat. 0x4fb3f1a2ae931577e0ad5ae125d99b736840e1fccd7b029265055a47074ef00e

Should someone get in touch with coinmarketcap.com and tell them that you can mine EXP? They seem confused.

Or is this a cunning plan?

ETH = new BTC
EXP = new LTC

You've got that wrong.

ETH = BTC

EXP = ETH

anyone know of any other Ethereum clone that has less then 15 second block times?

No. As far as I know there were only two other Ethereum Forks, 15 seconds and 25 seconds, and I think they are having some technical issues currently.

Franko wrote a blog about block timing and why Expanse decided to be different in this manner. (We are not having technical issues)

Yes that is because exp dev is very smart man. Soon press release..
