Dear FAILers,

Yesterday was the first slack discussion of the FailCommunity team.
Three of our members couldn't make it for the meeting, but the participants were:

On this meeting we have decided as follows:

1. Most likely there will be no hard fork on FailCoin! As of now, about 902,000 block are mined and FAIL current supply is ~20 million coins. Some of the team members wanted to give a chance for the miners to get some coins and we also want to push some of the features, which we feel as more important to our development. In this way the PoW phase will continue for at least 2 more years (depends on the diff.)...
NOTE: Keep in mind that this decision is not final!

2. Our Website, Social accounts and this thread will be completely redesigned.
NOTE: You can see that we already made minor changes on our Twitter and Facebook accounts. More to follow!

3. Team members, which are mentioned with both of their names will reveal their identity and they will be presented on our website.

Now something about our development as a cryptocurrency. Here is where we are so far:



NOTE: The design of the wallet is not final!

We intend to use the latest QT 5.6, but we are experiencing issues with the webkit so we are fixing the things one at the time. Panoch knows more about this, since I'm not the coder here.

ETA for the release of our new wallet is by the end of the month, but we are not promising anything! We have also talked about other features of the wallet and Fail as a cryptocurrency, but those will be revealed in future.

P.S. FAIL team will also release a whitepaper, roadmap and a video/s (note: we will do our best to narrate it on as many languages as we can) to explain everything we have in mind and most importantly, how the wallet can be used and what is the purpose of FAIL as a cryptocurrency.

You probably already know that we are going to develop FailCoin as part of the FailCommunity (a community with its own cryptocurrency). What do you guys think about this logo? No worries. Bad thing is that half of the team is already online (6 members + 1 guest), but our developer is still not available.

Since we have looked on this coin and thought that this could be a good investment for investors and holders we would like to request that all your plan be posted it here of course it is up to you to lay your new plans for this coin project..

Yes I agree with you that majority of the people do not believe in the crypto currency but that was also the general sentiments when internet was on infant stage if you want to people get into any thing do not undermine their capabilities to understand,people do not woke to realize that they know it,the best approach is to make the explanation as simple as possible and believe that they can and have to use it..

And I have said to you that we want to keep things simple. There is no need for people to follow us. They will only need to download the wallet, where they can be updated on everything (and that of course, will be explained in the "whitepaper"/video), no matter if there are news, contests, new partners etc... If we manage to take FAIL to another level, then we can think about being more "professional". Majority of the people around the world do not believe in cryptocurrencies, because of one simple thing: they don't understand them.

All internet marketers consider video marketing a potent tools this is what we also recommend and will recommend to all our clients but as I have said you must have a running newsletter for any updates to your followers a splash page with video on it where people can subscribe is a potent tool ..

Thank you for your kind words. Our concept is pretty easy to understand, but we intend to explain it on "whitepaper" (or roadmap, call it whatever you want) and with a video. Like I have already said, we first need to make sure that everything we planned for the new wallet is ready and working.

Moze is the 6th FAILCommunity member who reveals his identity. His name is Moshe Nathan (Twitter) and he was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. Moshe studied International Communication in Italy and has an interest in distributed ledger technology since late 2013. He supports the idea of FAILCoin, because of the possibility to exchange value in the Internet Entertainment realm. He thinks that fails should be rewarded appropriately to the degree of fun that they produce. As a person which fail was viral for a few weeks on the Internet (you can watch his personal FAIL featured on 9GAG here ), he believes that fails are form of art because of the immense production of fun to the users who watch them, in that context fails should be rewarded as a form of art. Moshe will be our Italian Community Manager and he will be also involved in FAILCommunity's Marketing team.

Kostas is a Computer Technician with more than 10 years of service in the field and has worked for some major Greek technology companies like Germanos Group. He found out about cryptocurrencies and the blockchain technology in early 2011 and strongly believes its the future of money. Kostas will also help to the people, who was issues with non-working wallets, debug commands and technical "stuff".

We remind you that FAILCoin will be hard forked and it will become Full PoS with 2% yearly interest! Our Lead developer continue to work on the source, but we are pretty close. That is why we are preparing FAIL Team for what comes next! You must also know that FAILCommunity's social accounts, website and thread will be redesigned. Yet another team member (retnods) will reveal his identity. His name is Sigit Chow (LinkedIn, Twitter) and he is the original creator of the FAILCoin's Indonesian Facebook group. Sigit is a Bachelor of Economics with strong background in the Indonesian Banking System. He will be our Indonesian Community Manager and he will also be involved in FAILCoin's Marketing and Economics strategies.

Now I would like to say something personal. I have Sigit as a friend on Facebook for over a year now. It is extremely difficult to find such humble and fantastic human being! He has a beautiful family and we share a lot of things about our personal lives. I am sure that one day we will meet in person, despite we live over 6,500 miles apart from each other! Thank you for doing this, Sigit! You are one of the greatest assets that FAILCommunity has!

Dear FAILers,

We are happy to announce FAILCommunity's newest member - Isaac Nandgavkar (his accounts: BitcoinTalk, Twitter). Isaac is a Biotechnologist from India and Graphic Designing is one of his hobbies. He is also very much interested in cryptocurrencies and he is always looking to be a part of something, which would have a good impact to the society. Our goals is to spread the word about Bitcoin and use our cryptocurrency FAILCoin as a way to help and entertain people around the world.

In the next few weeks, we are going to work on redesigning everything. Website, thread, Twitter, Facebook etc... The work on the source continue with small steps, and as we already said - our lead developer now has more chances to work on it.

P.S. We expected 1-4 new members. Isaac s not one of them. We continue to discuss on how they can be involved in the project and mainly - if they are honest and transparent. Our team is aiming to gather only good people, which will not let you down!
P.S.2. I, batesresearch and Isaac will be the first team members, which will reveal our identities. We will present ourselves with pictures and some of our background. Sigit (our indonesian member) will probably do that too (I am busting his balls for a few weeks now ). This, of course, does not mean that the other team members are not good people. Everybody has their right of privacy and we respect that!
