going to post this out for the guys that know how to compile from source, or gitian, I haven't had the time to work through the howto guide on how to build for windows yet on a spare machine at home.

I have a client with some pot adjustment to only check inbound PoT blocks for PoT security (it was checking regular blocks for PoT too, not sure this was intended), new seed nodes, new checkpoint (97660, needs to be higher now), a sync height check (97000 gets past older forks).

But if you want to compile and test this...let me know what happens when you sync up.  I expect you will get one of the two chains at the moment, I could easily move sync height to adjust above it, but curious if this will sync up properly.
https://github.com/ofeefee/fluttercoin  this was forked off kidcoin's code and as minimal changes as possible. To be added is new alert and checkpoint keys

edit: seed nodes are not up yet, fluttercointalk.com is being used, it transfers to community control tomorrow Smiley

I compiled new wallet from your sources under ubuntu 14.04.
But wallet stuck on block 99928.
Is there some new list of nodes or?
Can you help me someone?

Thanks

Oh and you better buy some at this price. Just imagine we start the new thread with the new PoT reward, how hard it would be to reach back 400 satos ?  Imo the huge difference is there is no hidden agenda. X5 is a short term strong possibility BUT IT IS JUST MY OPINION ! I own myself a little bit more then 3 000 000 flt, and i realy do work for a much higher value then 400.

I can not talk for all, but most of us think it will happen when all Fork issus is fully handled, a dedicated dev team in place, and probably a "hard fork" ready (we want to increase Proof-of-Transaction incentive).

A part of those targets is already reached, but not all and everyone want to make it the right way. We want to avoid PnD. It wont come as a surprise (anyone can jump in the skype group and follow-help our progress). We think it is better then rush a new thread.

I think with PoT - our main tool should be transparency - but not just in words - but in fact.
I was even thinking, wouldnt be an idea to offer a "copy" of the chat log to anyone asking it ?
It's kind of risky - but I wonder if ot would be a nice way to :
1 - Let everybody see whats going on.
[10:19:22 AM] Soltantgris: 2 - Avoid cheating
[10:19:32 AM] ofeefee: I'm okay with that
[10:20:22 AM] Soltantgris: Since anybody can jump in - it is probable a good idea to offer this
[10:20:35 AM] LJ B: Im good with that but they should just join if they really want to know whats going on, be easier
[10:21:59 AM] mica.busch: would you guys want a Skype bot?
[10:22:03 AM] Imbecileee: we can put a transcript of the convo on fluttercointalk
[10:22:06 AM] mica.busch: for message logging and such?
[10:22:12 AM] Imbecileee: skype bot would be nice
[10:22:28 AM] mica.busch: k. found a Python module for interfacing Skype, can see about putting together a bot
[10:22:45 AM] Imbecileee: (y)
[10:22:47 AM] LJ B: (y)
[10:23:05 AM] Soltantgris: What a skype bot is doing ?
[10:23:58 AM] mica.busch: Looks like I could set it up to record chat logs, provide stats, blockchain interface etc
[10:24:11 AM] mica.busch: Ive done a few IRC bots, should be straightforward to adapt
[10:24:24 AM] Soltantgris: U tha man
[10:25:05 AM] Soltantgris: But first imo - put your time and energy on the MP
[10:25:16 AM] Soltantgris: Just read your tweet Tongue
[10:25:43 AM] Imbecileee: (worry)
[10:26:30 AM] Soltantgris: Imbecilee - I'll hire a wise guy to hack your PC and erase this fuckin face
[10:26:37 AM] Soltantgris: So negative !
[10:26:45 AM] Soltantgris: Bad for karma
[10:27:07 AM] Imbecileee: lol this is the TeamFLT logo (worry) (worry) (worry)
[10:27:08 AM] Soltantgris: Thumbs up, smile and pretty women
[10:27:26 AM] Soltantgris: That will attract more poeple, not (worry) (worry) (worry)
[10:27:37 AM] Imbecileee: lol (worry)
[10:27:45 AM] Soltantgris: The definition of this face is : "Worry"
[10:28:14 AM] Soltantgris: You realy need to work on your PR, you piece of cake
[10:28:25 AM] mica.busch: (facepalm)
[10:28:28 AM] Imbecileee: Sad
[10:28:51 AM] Soltantgris: Ok I'm done with you guys, you are so pathetic
[10:28:56 AM] mica.busch: lol
[10:28:57 AM] Imbecileee: lol
[10:29:03 AM] Soltantgris: (sun)(hug)(heart)

Just to clarify : Ofeefee - Mica - Imbecileee are not "devs" officialy - but they are coding etc, so to me they are wisards - but they are progressing pretty fast (Ofeefee up front).  We own Ofeefee and Imbecilee a huge "thanks" - and I know Mica is back working for the Multipool and will do just fine.

I'm pretty happy a dev jump in and assist those guys.

A new dev joinded TeamFLT - nothing official yet - but he's a skilled one and will assist Ofeefee - Mica - Imbecileee (and those running test and helping) starting next week.

It's a good news, be FAR from what we aim for FLT, to say the least.

But that being said, things are going pretty fast.  We got some huge support from the outside - and we expect much more.  To me, the skypegroup act as a "catalyser".  I tought I would have to "motivate" everybody and all, but it is completely to opposite that happened !  They are so dedicated and motivated, no choice to jump in and work with them as hard as possible.

Here is the last 10 minutes of the skypegroup :

[9:50:47 AM] mica.busch: Vault will need to sync up with our new seednodes
[9:51:02 AM] ofeefee: I want a flt debit caed
[9:51:20 AM] ofeefee: That I use at gas station and it uses flt
[9:51:44 AM] Soltantgris: Right
[9:52:28 AM] ofeefee: And I get some pot for putting gas in the tank!
[9:52:31 AM] Soltantgris: I would be happy if we could choose one of us to be the "PR and Tech"' guys for exchanges.
[9:52:53 AM] Soltantgris: You know, someone lightnight fast to help them out with any kind of FLT related probs.
[9:53:14 AM] mica.busch: I think its a big challenge to do Debit, but we could look into something like Gyft
[9:53:26 AM] LJ B: should i tweet this to Vault with the config? Is it ok to give them your multipool node mica ?  http://pastebin.com/v4chs9FY
[9:53:45 AM] Soltantgris: I would prefer a PM
[9:53:56 AM] LJ B: they not following me so i cant
[9:54:01 AM] Soltantgris: Tongue
[9:54:20 AM] Soltantgris: Each time I see this kind of Tweet - I think "this coin is in bad shape"
[9:54:23 AM] ofeefee: Mica?  Did you work on android waller?  I have it, but it has a. Api issue an it references icarusglider.com on my error
[9:55:18 AM] ofeefee: I will probably add mica and my AWS node for seednode, we will need more I'm case ours are down for some reason
[9:56:00 AM] ofeefee: Seednodes are use to find peers, doesn't say. They are responsible for chain downloads
[9:56:08 AM] Imbecileee: @vaultofsatoshi try this new config: http://pastebin.com/v4chs9FY

new explorer: http://chainz.cryptoid.info/flt/
[9:56:15 AM] Imbecileee: should i reply them that?
[9:56:31 AM] Imbecileee: (worry)
[9:56:55 AM] mica.busch: I host the android wallet server
[9:57:09 AM] mica.busch: is it down again?
[9:57:25 AM] LJ B: i'll email them imb
[9:58:09 AM] Imbecileee: (y)
[10:00:06 AM] LJ B: Ok done
[10:00:23 AM] ofeefee: Appreciate you guys
[10:00:56 AM] LJ B: this is msg i got from Fairglu  Ofee
[10:01:07 AM] LJ B: Added a network tab with the first peer stats, peer height stats aren't there yet as I'm not sure how to display them.

FWIW below is what was collected on the explorer wallet during the last hours, the height can vary a bit without it being a sign of trouble peers aren't queried all the time.

That said there seems to be at least a few forks with peers stuck around 87199 and 89525 and 96000 heights.

This is like this most of the time.  I don't know if any other coin is trying to be that open.  I saw today Androlopoulos resigned from BTC Fondation because "too many lack of transparency".  There is too many "secret agenda" in cryptos.  I can not promise anything regarding the future of FLT - but I can promise something : I'll work to keep things as ethic - honest - transparent as possible.  It's just too nice to see how this "open anarchy" is playing out lol.

Even if you own none FLT - feel free to join us.  Maybe (hopefully) we can become an "exemple" for others coins.  Too many of us got raped too many time in crypto.  It is fuckin time to change.

For me it compiled no problem and did sync at the same block as the block explorer 99835

in lieu of upcoming block 100k
http://fluttercointalk.com/showthread.php?160-BLOCK-100K-Huge-Congrats-TeamFLT!!!!-1K-giveaway!

fluttercointalk.com is being transferred to TeamFLT tomorrow, should be pretty smooth transition, but if it hiccups, it won't be for long.

i don't even know how to make a config file, shit lol.

and btw, i thought there was a different pic of a younger kid on twitter that was posted with him meeting some bitcoin big wig? he was like a legit young kid, maybe 18 or 19. anybody remember that?

seattletu,

in %appdata%\fluttercoin if windows
create fluttercoin.conf
copy/paste the addnodes, and other items, restart FLT

If you don't get the 993x chain, we may need to do a whole network search for nodes on the longer chain, but if you add the 5 or 6 nodes i listed, put addnode= on them, client should find the longer chain, but sometimes it does not.  we are looking at the keys and seednodes now, flt does automatic checkpointing and we think that is what keeps this all in motion, the seednodes are down now, so no one is sending out instructions Sad

i just checked my test client on the longer chain...here's some nodes that are up around 99300 if you want to try syncing up, interesting that the network isn't syncing up with it though.  I have not tested to see where mintpal, cryptsy, bittrex is at.  Someone can post from what chain they sent test trans, and which one arrived.  I will see if I can send some, but really busy at work today Sad

edit: just sent some to mint, it's pending off the 993xx chain.  bittrex is on the 991xx chain, not sure about cryptsy (edit:wallet is offline)
