You never technically lose coins, unless you mined on different chain. But I was on explorer chain until 5am, so that was in sync, but something happened to short the explorer chain, and other chain continued. So someone forked it I think. I'm resyncing my AWS node, which i have a checkpoint in for 95k, if it syncs up, it had to happen in last 24 hours, and well you can't mine 25k flt in a day Sad

Looks like most of the network is on the longer chain, cryptsy, mintpal, and bittrex are all in sync now, explorer is off, we are going to see if it will sync back up.

If you check your "getinfo" and you are less than 96582, you need to resync. You may be able to use my previous fluttercoin.conf, but here's some new nodes, that my AWS node is connected to that appear to be in sync.

I am in sync with http://chainz.cryptoid.info/flt/ but looks like something happened when I synched as PoW stopped finding blocks according to http://chainz.cryptoid.info/flt/ when I synched and all of last 7 PoS blocks at time of writing have been found by me.

happened at sometime after 5am cst, because my client that's about 150 blocks ahead has a pos block that matches on explorer.

Hmm. I wasn' solo mining at the time. I stopped about midnight PST. Maybe my mining it was helping it not fork. As soon as we can sync I will continue mining it.

I dumped all my flutters awhile back due to thekidcoin not really giving a shit, now that he is out of the picture and things may change, here are my suggestions:

1. remove PoW and keep PoT+PoS only just like a few people have said already.
2. lower the min stake age to a few hours, 30 days is ridiculous and achieves nothing but hoarding.. 30day mature time + PoT makes no sense - one encourages hoarding and the second spending.

Just these two changes will make the coin much more desirable than it currently is and I am sure there are more things to improve as well.

If we ever get a new dev I think we should switch to POS/POT only. POW is causing issues and most people seem to like POS only coins better these days anyway. Obviously the staking time would need to be shortened a lot to keep the blockchain going. POT will also help keep the blockchain from grinding to a halt should there not be enough people staking.

This would also drive people who want to mine to the multipool which would in turn drive the price up.
