I don´t know, I´m a miner, almost 100% noob in trading heheh, all the buy orders are bellow 9k, clearly this guy want buy bellow 9k...

But what's the goal?

Someone is feeding with BID orders, 1 sat increment and low volumes....this is pure manipulation.

I'm not sure what to make of it to be honest, it's pretty interesting though.

I wonder if/how it relates to the trolls that appeared all of a sudden.

The only explanation I can think of, is people wanting to buy cheap so trolling the price down and scooping up a bunch of coins all at once.

The buys came across an hour though, so not sure what to make of that.

Maybe other people saw the buys and jumped on board too?

In regard to the whales, no not serious.
I was just messing with that guy because he created a brand new account to post FUD here.
Perhaps a bad move of mine in retrospect, I tend to mainly aim for making trolls feel stupid, but I'm open to other tactics from the community for dealing with them.

I do think the low volume is noteworthy but more a symptom of larger issues.
I know cryptsy went out of their way to add FRAC (eg, it skipped the voting system), I assume because they like it's features as much as we do, I don't think they'll drop it unless they really have to.
Bittrex on the other hand I agree would likely drop it volume fell out for a long period.

On the larger issue you raised about it being quiet in here I completely agree.
The community for FRAC is seriously below the level of it's technical merits, and we need to change that somehow.
I'd be open to providing raw FRAC for give-aways etc, I know give-aways are banned here but we could have one on reddit maybe.
I know there are a lot of people doing things behind the scenes, we actually have a good block explorer, faucet, etc, people are voting better than most other coins.
But the IRC has been quiet the last week and we're struggling to draw new users.

I completely ignore the FUD of what the "anabolical man" have posted, but this is the worst moment of this coin ever, things are just getting very bad, at this rate 1 sat is next step and then bye bye, there´s also the risk of the volume falling deep next weeks and coin gets deleted in exchanges in a couple of months or so.

About the whales I just don´t see how or where...pushing down the price? Looks too unreal to me...wish I be a believer as you, who´s buying now at 6k-7k-8k will sell at 10k-15k, so old frac traders who bought "low" at 40k will get excluded 4ever...not good.

I continue to vote hourly in CoinWarz and usercryptos, this last one I don´t think it will help the coin much due to its low volumes...

@magrospic, I was actually a bit sceptical of your claim about the whales suppressing the price before this guy appeared.

Then the price goes to 6k sat and straight after this brand new account appears saying:
"Hey look, it's 6k sat, this coin is dead!, oh noes!"

I have my midterm investment in this. Already making some profit. I don't understand why people are still selling at this price level.

Interesting idea but I think it would be hard to organize.

It would either require all the pools or a massive litecoin/dogecoin miner and I don't think either would be willing put their resources toward it.

I like the idea of getting more attention on slingshield though

Initiate a <71% attack to test the robustness of Slingshield algorithm, is the only way to detonate the FRAC price, I think.

Have anyone could do it?

The way I tend to look at all the pump and dump coins is as a filler for traders between innovative coins.

Innovations are always they best investments, they're reasonably safe and offer huge returns, but they only come along every couple of months.

To fill in those gaps traders speculate on which P+D coin will do best this week, P+Ds are plentiful but the returns are smaller, and often they don't make it off the ground.

I wouldn't worry about the day traders ignoring FRAC, they'll come on board when it suits them.

In the meantime longer term investors can work on buying cheap, getting the word out, and helping the community grow.

Then when the day traders become interested they can buy from us, if we're willing to sell

I think CoinWarz will give the coin more publicity, visibility...Fractal is nothing popular, not yet... 99% of Altcoins are Pump and Dump schemes, some few coins are innovatives and agregates something in crypto history like this and few others...I think because of this PnD be almost generalized, coins like FRAC suffer just being different...
