Is your service ready for percentage based fees? If not, give the v1.2 beta of the wallet a try at github.
Version 1.2-beta is an optional update targeted at making percentage based fees trivial to support. It adds a new configuration option "-defaultsubtractfee". (you can also use defaultsubtractfee=1 in fractalcoin.conf) This configuration option makes it so that the transaction fees are automatically subtracted from the total amount of coins sent to the recipient. So, if you send Bob 50 FRAC, Bob might receive, say 49.5 FRAC, because 0.5 FRAC were paid in transaction fees.
This is aimed at making it easy to allow legacy infrastructure to support percentage based fees without relying on the maximum tx fee amount. Using this new mechanism, it should be safe for most services to set their static transaction fee as 0, and fees will automatically be taken out as funds are sent.
Note, it is beta software. It's been tested quite a bit, but is still prerelease software. If dealing with a large volume of transactions, use caution if adopting this release until it has been finalized and fully tested

We have a small update in the works that we will need testers running services for. Bitcoin currently has an outstanding pull request to add a feature so that fees can be subtracted from the amount sent. This would mean a service could do "send XXX 50 FRAC" and then, fees will be withheld from that 50 FRAC, so that the end user would receive, say 49.9 FRAC or some such. We believe this will make adoption of percentage based fees much easier for services and should require only small changes to support.

We're now #1 with 10 more votes ahead of other coins behind. Keep voting until noon of tomorrow when polo adds us; did place a few buy orders and got many at about 23-25k sat. This is a great chance getting low? you never know where it is heading.
