What is the relationship between platform OpenHours is the platform alive and ongoing?

OpenHours is existing platform that we will upgrade into Futourist. OpenHours is 10 years mature platform spread across 20+ countries from EU to US and has tons of users so it provides ideal starting point. Therefore we expect quick beta phase soon after the crowdsale and beta release within few months of the crowdsale. Since OpenHours receives over 1 milion monthly users we need to make sure transition and rebranding is done in a way that doesnt affect experience of all existing users.

Cool. I have a question also about the OpenHours. How will you implement Futourist over OpenHours (Tech-wise)  ?

OpenHours is a standalone platform built for scale - it has a lot of room to grow on users side and on business listing side.

Implementation phases:
- Complete Frontend rework - rebranding, new features, UX
- Mobile apps rework
- Writing completely standalone service for video reviews (Google Cloud Platform)
- Implementation of video reviews on existing OpenHours backend via new service
- Implementation of Smart Contracts with user rewarding protocol

But will OpenHours still be single page  and Futourist single page and then Joined at some fases or Will just the two join together ?

How come you are focusing on Video reviews, does that mean there will be no text reviews ?

I think there will be all kinds of reviews man. But you know how it is more and more people don't like to read nowadays and just want to watch a short awesome video Smiley

What happens with unsold tokens ?

I am interested too. I think because it is a non-mineable token the unsoled tokens will be not issued and "burned".. That's what happens with most of other ICOs. Smiley

How fast do you think you can implement Futourist on your working product? What will the process be and how long will it take in reality?

Hi!

Since OpenHours is a working product and we do not plan to make major functionality reworks, we plan to have the system implemented in approx. 6 months. We plan to implement the rewarding service and include existing business partners in the circular token economy. The Futourist app itself is coming out early 2019.

In early 2019 so we have 1 year to prepare for very awesome app. Can't wait to own ftr tokens in my wallet and to start using the app. Will it be a desktop android and ios app?

I noticed KYC is needed in order to contribute. Why is that ? For contribution I get it but later lets say I don't have FTR tokens at the start but want to buy them on an exchange and someone will sell me FTR tokens and I don't have to fill out KYC right ?  Than I don't quite get why KYC is neccesary.

Exchanges also do KYC - so you got checked there.

I think I get his question. Yes you do KYC on exchanges but still you can send tokens to MEW and from mew to other exchanges or wallets. Maybe it will be diferent if you want to cash out and you can only do it on exchanges with KYC. But me too don't get it why do you need KYC at the crowdsale ?

Great and clean website you have there https://futourist.io/. Wonder how is the crowdsale doing ? Hardcap reached yet ?  Cheesy

We are really happy with the progress, 3900ETH raised already - around 500ETH raised in past 15 hours due to last 5% bonus we are offering.
Follow our progress on: https://futourist.io/ico

I was on your page in November and downloaded Whitepaper where you guys mention Content rewarding protocol and Proof of Content, where is this?

Hi.

The whitepaper went through several interations since then. The "Proof of Content" principle is still true - the tokens will be given to the reviewers with the best content. The general rewarding protocol was put aside for now. We will be focusing on travel reviews and once that is done, we will move on to create a general rewarding protocol able to reward any content on any web or mobile platform.

I just noticed you have gamification developer in your team, in what way are you implementing gamification is this essential part of the platform Huh

1. Onbaording - making a user feel like he's just using an app, rather than going through a tutorial. Modern mobile games have have mastered this principle.
2. Levels - accounts will have levels based on their thrusthworthyness. You will earn those levels by completing (carefully selected) tasks which if properly executed will incentivize the player (user) to return to the app, generate more content and try to become the best contributor.
3. Achievements and Badges - users will earn these by completing fun travel challenges. For example they will recieve a "reviewed a nightclub at 5 a.m." badge or "travelled 5 continents". Another classic gamification element that incentivizes the users to engage the app, maybe spread the awareness and of course contribute more.

Building IoE — Internet of Experiences

Internet of Experiences
We live in amazing times. The disruptive power of blockchain technology has started to spread in different fields, showing promising capability of overcoming obstacles which we face in our daily life. Many projects from this field are therefore already showing the potential of bringing the solutions to our problems that were before seen as unsolvable.

As a project leader of Futourist I believe we need to bring benefits of blockchain technology closer to everyday users. Building a real application is important in order to show the maturity phase of this space.

That is why we are building our platform — to enable people to share their experience from the places which made them richer.

Many people think that Futourist will offer just reviews. But if you look at our Whitepaper, what we have been communicating through our channels and writing on our blogs then a Bigger picture appears. People will be able not to just write reviews and get rewarded. They will document the amazing experiences they went through with the help of pictures and videos. Content will be consumed for the purpose of informing one another and helping each other. For example someone who has been in a place which there is not much known about will know what to tell everyone else that are interested in that place — what to look out for, where to go, which food to eat, where to sleep, how to communicate, how to dress properly…

We want to create a blend of a product and a service where digital, hardware and human interact with one another. We want Futourist to become a useful application in your life — not to bother you with beeping and annoying you 24/7, but with the purpose that whenever you need it, it is there for you.

Consume, create, share and monetize
The Grand vision of Futourist is to become a self suffiecient community in the everyday life of travelers, tourists, bloggers, photographers and everyone else that creates and consumes content which is made by users.

Bringing benefits of blockchain to everyday users
Real time application on blockchain is needed in order to bring benefits of blockchain to everyday users. We have been following the development of blockchain from the begining and we believe that maturity phase will only come when everyday users will adopt applications like Futourist.

We are connecting “Old economy companies”, blockchain Technology and people in an ecosystem that will have win-win-win benefits!

Futourist who are your partners and what is your relationship with them just investment partners or hand in hand partners in which sector, what do they bring to the project for real ?

Our partners and their roles (starting with oldest partners):

1. OpenHours
OpenHours is an existing platform spread across 20 countries. Futourist will grow on top of its existing software & community infrastructure.

2. Cofoundit (ICO&project advisory role)
ICO & project advisory role from day 1. We received a lot of support and guidance from experienced Cofoundit team and passed their evaluation phase in order to show Futourist is transparent and real project.

3. Sofitto
Sofitto is our long term partner that  aims to make people using blockchain-enabled transaction as simple as they do their purchases using ordinary bank card. Futourist will implement Sofitto debit card for its users in order to simplify spending of earned FTR tokens.

4. Columbus Capital
Pinta (CCP) is a closed-end actively managed DAA investing in crowdfunded blockchain based projects (ICOs).

5. Bancor
Official Bancor partnership will enable all FTR owners to trade tokens soon after 20. March on their protocol.

I like partnership with Sofitto this is the best deal to use for paying futurists and other people. Simple.
Other partnerships I also like. You forgot ICONOMI? Or is there just CEO as an advisor?
