@temp89 - I think once Inkhascape starts to get more players and has full GP integration, that will be the start of creating an extra demand for it.

I see people don't sell their gold pieces at bittrex at the current price. It's good sign because people know GP is valuable and rare coin. But there are only a few buyers and it's not already optimistic .

That was my thought. And a ton of subscription/cash shop-based games now allow users to buy tokens to trade to other players for gold. Adding cryptos would make sense to help facilitate RMT. Not sure what the hesitation is.

Good to see GP progressing and inkha still around. One of the nicest people in crypto.

Gaming and crypto are such a natural fit, I just don't get how it's still not a thing. We all wasted hours and days farming virtual gold anyway in games.

More big news coming for GP soon. For now the biggest development is Inkha's work on the 3D MMO RPG that has full GP integration. As soon as the website at http://inkhascape.com is up and looking professional we will start the marketing in a big way.

Ahh ok thanks. I didn't realize I had to "make" the conf file. That's how big a Noob I am. I'll give it a shot when I get home. 

Some coins do not require a .conf file but, now you know how to do it if needed.

Update!

Withdrawals and deposits are functioning and ready to be announced to the public. Another team member is sending me the files for the website which will include the graphical user interface you guys can use to actually do the deposits and withdrawals! Everything is functioning code wise, it's just being coded into the website for public use now!

We have the first actual in-game quest being developed, The quest was written by TD! This is the start of the story line, Questing will be the next big thing aside from the actual skills and training which are all 100% functional.

There will be a tutorial being written on training each skill, various combat training techniques, and a world map that will show you where you can go to start training your skill of choice such as Mining, Smithing, Fishing etc for each level.

Here's a world map. When you first login you are in the city called "Lumbridge" on the map.



The wilderness is where Player VS Player fighting is enabled. Aside from questing and skill training, I think a lot of people will get into PVP fighting and training their players for battle. Guilds and clans will most likely manifest and people will be having clan wars etc. This opens up a unique opportunity for Smiths and Fishermen to make GP by practicing their chosen skill. Most likely people that are into combat will earn their money from various clan and 1v1 battles in the wilderness. They will need to buy weapons and food for healing, as well as runes for magic spells. So people who train skills other than combat will have the oppurtunity to provide these people with the items they need.

Players will start inhabiting the world a lot more with the advent of this new website. It will make it much easier for people to download the client and start playing the game and learning where and what to train to start earning GP or follow the story line and start doing quests.

Inkhascape Game Client

To run the game you must have installed Java, In the command line type "java -jar Inkhascape.jar" after extracting the zip file. This will launch the game and you type your username and password in existing user to have your account created!

Someone please ELI5 where the conf files is that I need to add nodes...is there a tutorial on how to do this?

I have the bootstrap and wallet...but it's out of sync and I don't know where to go on my computer to do the "addnode" thing.


On a side note have any of you guys looked Ethereum lately and is it a platform for GB and HYPER to get some decentralized work done?

I haven't a clue but I'm into Ethereum from a speculative and investment standpoint because I think it's going to get noticed quickly. I've had some since November....Sold it....now just FOMO'd back into it...lol...Still creepin' up.  But I understand there is plenty that alt coins can do with it like this one. 

Anyway I want to get my GP wallet rockin' so any noob help would be awesome. I've scoured and searched posts and have some clues but I'm the missing link I guess...

I believe you understand that creating .conf file, before doing that you should enable (show) file extensions in Windows 7 or 8 or whatever you are running on you pc.
