We just tried to send gun coin to Bleutrade. My wallet says all confirmations are done and it has the green checkmark. BUT Bleutrade says they didn't get it. My wallet is in sync and I sent them coins just five days ago. I did not download the new MAC wallet. To tell the truth I don't know how and I'm afraid I'll mess it up and lose all my coins.

Do I have to download the new wallet?

Is there somewhere I can go for simple instructions?

What do I do about the coins that are marked as sent? They have been subtracted from the balance.

Thanks so much

First off - always have your wallet backed up.  Second, you need the new wallet that was released several weeks ago (download it from the website - the old ones no longer work correctly on the network.  Like Dabs said, get your transaction ID and let Bleutrade know what it is - use our block explorer at http://blockexperts.com/gun to if necessary and point them to it also.

I did show them the transaction ID. They said it didn't show up to them and I don't know how to get it put back in my Guncoin wallet. It seems to be lost in space.

Any other place to get that latest win wallet by any chance?

Are you trying to get it from behind a firewall or something?

BTW, I tried to download it and put it on dropbox for you, but it's blocked by the firewall at work.   Wink

Where can one download the latest Windows wallet?  Website giving 403 error.

http://www.guncoin.info/downloads/guncoin-qt-1.1.0.0.zip

Just tried all of them (except the android), they all worked. (the android doesn't matter, it needs to be updated)

What the heck, I am confused!  I still cannot access anything on that site for some reason so cannot get to the wallet.......all I get every time I try to access any page on that site is..........

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /downloads/guncoin-qt-1.1.0.0.zip on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Edit - 2 different browsers, 2 different PCs.....same error.......STRANGE!

Thanks. I specifically picked this laptop due to the Core i5 having AES-NI. Cuz I encrypt the whole thing.

OK, that is good news - thanks so much for reporting that great info.  Can you share your setup info and what kind of hash rate you were seeing???

Laptop is a Lenovo G40 Intel Core i5. 3.3 kh/s using the guncoin wallet client. No pool (as it needs some sort of minerd or something). I just set it to solo mine, and after 6 hours, it found a block.

That's pretty decent for the mobile processor in a laptop.

AMD 8350 (8 core) black running stock clock gets 1.63 kh/s per core. (mining rig)
Intel Q9660 (quad core) unlocked running stock clock gets 1.32 kh/s per core. (workstation)

Well, someone went on a buying spree a few hours ago, spending .115 BTC and buying up over 200k guncoin, snagging all the guncoin up to 75 sat's on bleutrade..

Solo mining on a laptop works. I can confirm it.  Smiley

Quote
Status: 27 confirmations, broadcast through 5 nodes
Date: 2014-11-01 06:37
Source: Generated
Credit: 200.00 GUN (matures in 53 more blocks)
Net amount: 0.00 GUN
Transaction ID: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Generated coins must mature 120 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.

I've solo mined some.  I get about:

5.5 kh/s on AMD A8 7600 CPU
2.7 kh/s on AMD Athlon II X2 240 CPU
3.2 kh/s on Intel i5 2450M laptop

Found a few blocks with all three solo mining

We are getting ready to update our users guide.  Is there anything in particular that the community thinks is missing or needs to be added?  Of course, we will be adding a discussion on Neoscrypt, etc. - but anything else that you think newbies should know or would be helpful to them?Huh?

Running the Mac wallet, replaced the old one and it synced up fine.
The apps icon is a large silver “L”? Shouldn’t it be a “G”?

Does the wallet pool miner not work? It won’t start I’m getting this error:

Code:
minerd -a neoscrypt -s 1 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.gun.theblocksfactory.com:3330 -O User.123:xxx -t 8 -r -1 -P
Miner failed to start. Make sure you have the miners executable in the same directory as Phoenixcoin-qt

On another note, anyone get their GPU rig mining neoscrypt from a USB stick?

Did you have minerd in the same folder as the wallet?

Haven't tried running off a stick, as I have GPU & Asic mining on the same rig so it runs full blown windoz.

As far as I could tell there is no minerd with the Mac Wallet.

OK, good input to know.  We had someone different take the code and create the MAC wallet for us.  We will check and see what is rolled in with it.  For now, just grab a copy of minerd and stick it in the same folder and run it.  We are running it fine on a laptop that - Windows, not Apple.  We will add this to the list of bugs to investigate.
