Question guys - I mined about 50k of these back when it was launched. Does anything have to be done (exchange or something) since the algorithm changed?

Back up your wallet.dat and upgrade to the new wallet software. Nothing else should need to be done unless you have an issue.

Just get the latest version of the wallet. Check to see that your coins are there. Optionally, send all your coins to yourself at a new address, just to make sure that it works. (I didn't send my old coins, but I did mine a couple of blocks so far.)

Yeah thanks, we're in mourning for 4 more years..
WTF is wrong with this picture?
Yes, 16 counties, mostly rural with high republican counts won for the democrats, when 46 counties were won by the republicans, and lost.
Not to mention, in the pic shown, "Wayne county" was won by Cuomo when, the results show different!!
Yup, the fix is in.....
Out of 10 million voters, only 3 million and change voted. Not enough repubs got out and voted.
I wonder if offering people free guncoin would have gotten them to vote?

Well, while it is sad for NY gun owners for sure today. The sea of red that we saw everywhere else was VERY good to see and should give the New Yorkers something to be happy about today.

Wonderful news - that was the point of our upgrade. Any firearms enthusiasts with a laptop, can make money over night - not a lot - but it all ads up. FYI, we are on the voting list at Comkort.com. Comkort is a nice little exchange we have used for quite a while. Not a big one for sure, but we are now trying to increase our visibility and more exchanges is one area to do that. So if you could give us your one vote per day there, that would be a good thing as others see us gradually move up the voting list there.

We just tried to send gun coin to Bleutrade. My wallet says all confirmations are done and it has the green checkmark. BUT Bleutrade says they didn't get it. My wallet is in sync and I sent them coins just five days ago. I did not download the new MAC wallet. To tell the truth I don't know how and I'm afraid I'll mess it up and lose all my coins.
Do I have to download the new wallet?
Is there somewhere I can go for simple instructions?
What do I do about the coins that are marked as sent? They have been subtracted from the balance.

My fingers are crossed for you in getting your coins back!!
Do you know how to backup your wallet file? Do you encrypt your wallets? Asking this as it seems you are perhaps new with this stuff and these 2 things are the most important to know and the most painful when a problem pops up.
Unfortunately you may have learned a hard lesson with this......is a REALLY good idea to verify you are running the latest wallet before sending any coins from it! For this reason, you can lose your coins to the abyss in certain cases if you send coins from an outdated wallet.
Updating your wallet/s is typically VERY easy to do! THE most important thing to do and understand before updating any wallet, is to backup your wallet.dat file before doing anything! If you need detailed instructions on how to update a wallet, just ask on the forum and someone will help you. But do get in the habit of keeping good backups of your wallets! I personally have 4 backups of ALL of my wallets, on 4 different flash drives. Also be sure to save your wallet passwords in a safe place and always use VERY strong passwords, I always auto generated 15 random character PWs with LastPass myself.

BTW, I tried to download it and put it on dropbox for you, but it's blocked by the firewall at work.
Just wanted to say thanks for trying help bud, very kind of you. I am only behind a Windows firewall and have never experienced this before so I suspect the dev is on the right track with my IP somehow being blocked by the server.

Yeah, it kinda looks like your server is blocking my IP for some reason, was thinking the same thing. Still the same today. Strange though as I've never had this issue with a website before but can't think of any other cause.

First off - always have your wallet backed up. Second, you need the new wallet that was released several weeks ago (download it from the website - the old ones no longer work correctly on the network. Like Dabs said, get your transaction ID and let Bleutrade know what it is - use our block explorer at http://blockexperts.com/gun to if necessary and point them to it also.
Can you see the coin movement in the block explorer from your address to the one you sent it to? Is that the right address that Bleutrade has mapped to your account? Are you trying to see it in an old or new wallet now? Unfortunately in the end, we can do very little in regards to Bleutrade. I know that they were one of the first exchanges to upgrade to our new code (AskCoin.net just did it yesterday). I also do not know if when the exchanges upgrade, if that creates new wallet addresses. It should not, but that might explain where the coins went.....just trying to think up scenarios here where they went.
