@thd26bct The wallet version 1.1.0.3 came like 3 days after the delisting from the exchange and is not mandatory. So their support is just bad all around... Pretty sure the real reason is only low trading volume or whatever financial situation this old exchange is in. Not a good business decision if you ask me, but it's their business...

With the delisting on Cryptopia, can anyone tell me where to transfer my HAL to?
Is it all lost? I've thousands of HAL. What can I do with it?

It isn't lost, we're in the same boat, currently the only options I see is to:
1. Install the latest wallet (1.1.0.3) on a pc and sync it.
2. Transfer your bags as soon as possible on your wallet, make backups and unlock it for staking and get some more.
3. Or if you really want/need to trade and find buyers, use a trusted escrow service.
4. If you're a contrarian, you can also solo mine it easily with just 1 gfx card depending on the network difficulty.

I still find this coin offer an interresting balance of proof of stake vs proof of work, that's why I'm keeping my eyes on it.

No surrender, no retreat, no regret.
I have enquired Cryptopia on the delisting matter. One customer support agent has given me a tinned response and suggested to ask the coin listing team. Those have given me the same tinned response and no more communication. They refer to their delisting policy, but cannot tell what part of it has to do with Halcyon being delisted!

It was unexpected to say the least. Yet it doesn't change my plans.

I've just tagged the v1.1.0.3 maintenance release and uploaded the 32-bit and 64-bit Windows binaries. This update comes with a much better block explorer I've written earlier for Orbitcoin. There is also support for the Network Time Protocol (NTP) which allows for the best possible time synchronisation.

Thank you for your efforts Ghostlander. I appreciate it! The exchange-delisting of course is ugly but nevertheless I'm looking forward to the upcoming platform switch and more infos about it. Please keep up the great work Smiley

Wow, never I thought that cryptopia could do us such a low blow. That is disrecpectful and scandalizing. I'm never going to inject another satoshi on this exchange. I want to chip in for a new exchange like Cryptobridge, hmu! In the meantimes, happy mining and staking, this coin still works beautifully!

Any time line on the new HAL wallet project?

I work on the project as my free time allows. I don't make time lines.

How your perspective for your projects PXC and HAL? You so old dev... You working so long time. What is endpoint for your projects may be smart contracts on yours blockchain or adoption in payment systems? Or may be you want gain experience and go away from this projects as did the previous dev? I so interest your position and your final dreams in your work.... All information for HAL is so old, site is not working old dev say him conception but away the project and you change this for your vision. I so interest because have good feeling for your work.

PXC will continue on its own, HAL will switch to a new platform when I have time to complete. All coins will be exchanged 1:1. The web site will be back online soon as I'm retiring old VPS now and launching new ones instead.

Are there future plans for ORB too, or just for PXC and HAL?

There are plans for all of them. ORB has the most mature code base. I'm not going to rebase it. New features are under development.

If the new platform would be totally new and different from a blockchain, how can a potential investor trust in the new code?

Why you don't make something like a 'snapshot' of halcyon, instead of the swap. This way can be more interesting for investors.

Halcyon should live separately, I see more benefits than just make a swap.

The new platform will have a complete commit history. I prefer not to maintain two coins bearing the same name on two different platforms. It's rather confusing.

why there will be need for coins swap, why just not make classic hard fork?

The current platform is Bitcoin based. The next one will be much different.
