Can you share more about the finance option? It has to do with minimum 10 BTC deposit and it has to be for a month. What is the interest I will get for the month?
We used to provide a much higher interest rate, however, as the inflation rate of Bitcoin decreased, our interest rate decreased too.

When I first put my coin into the short term account it was earning 9%.  Grin
I thinks it's only 1 or 2% now, but as far as I'm concerned it's free coin and I'm happy to still have it all here earning.

Hi Tyler,

This is the image you've embedded. I don't quite get it. Let's say I deposit 10 BTC with HaoBTC, the first month I will get 3%? Meaning, let me paint a scenario - let's say 1st Jan 2016, I deposited 10 BTC. On 2 Feb 2016, I will withdraw get back 10.3 BTC?

Is the percentage per annum or what?

Yes, it's the percentage per annum. In your example, you can withdraw 10+10*3%/12=10.025B on 2 Feb 2016.

Thanks! It's much clearer now.

How do you monetize a investment of one hour? I mean, your couldn't have done anything with it...

If you deposit a certain mount of bitcoins in our wallet for just 1 hour, the interest you will get is almost zero.
Only if you deposit at least 10 bitcoins in our Finance system for 1 month, you can get something meaningful.

That is mainly because the HaoBTC is a genuine company. It is not a scam site like most of the other sites.

Thx, Lumada. You got the point.

I had not understood how this is different from what cloud mining does.
You are paying a company for their hash rates but with this you are giving them bitcoins for the mining itself?
This is not fully apparent to the average user and seems to be obviously transparent which you don't want as someone who is investing. You want all to be fully known.
But they must be doing something right for too be running this long. Grin

Hi mixan,

Rather than a Cloud Miner, HaoBTC is more like a bank in the Bitcoin world. You deposit your bitcoins here, we loan it to others at a higher interest rate. The only difference is a bank would loan money to a lot of customers, while HaoBTC loan bitcoins to our own HaoBTC Mining Department - to decrease the risks of bad loan.
The interest rate we offered, though decreased due to the decrease of the inflation rate of Bitcoin, is guaranteed. You get interests every month and can take back your deposit any time you want. But a Cloud Miner would not guarantee you can get your principal back. Of course, you may get a higher return if you are lucky enough when you bought a contract from a Cloud Miner.

this program cloud mining still open or not
or is now only service exchanger
but still open clound mining how much is miniumum investment in haobtc
and how much return in every hour from capital money

It does not offer cloud mining service. It just borrows money to invest into the mining itself. We get the interest.

Hi SANALIU,

Eric is transferred to another project, which he can make better use of his media expertise. Everything else at HaoBTC is going on smoothly.

Hi Zocadas,

You are right about difference between Cloud Mining service and our "Deposit-Interest" service.

Welcome to Bitcointalk XiongTyler

Its still open if you try to read a few post above you. It's just that Eric will not be as active here as before and XiongTyler will take over what Eric has left in this forum. Eric is very responsive with the queries posted in this forum and willing to share his insights about whats going on in China Bitcoin market. You send your queries to XiongTyler through PM or post it publicly

Thank you, nydiacaskey01, for both the warm welcome and the explanation.

I personally know Bitcointalk in 2012, but I didn't register it until Eric's transfer. It's partly because I was mainly focused on the Chinese Bitcoin community on Weibo and Bikeji.com, of which I was the founding COO.

It's good to be here.

Announcement:

Dear HaoBTC users,
Per the Company’s latest decision, I (Eric Mu) will no longer hold the position as the Chief Marketing Office of the Beijing-based company. I will, however, retain the status as an employee while working on another HaoBTC-funded project that is not directly related to the Company’s main business, namely Bitcoin wallet, mining and exchange.

Starting tomorrow, I will no longer be directly involved in day-to-day operation of HaoBTC’s marketing and communications. My colleague Tyler Xiong will take over my responsibilities. If you have enquiries concerning the company or its services, please contact Tyler at [email protected]. For personal matters, you are welcome to contact me at my personal address: [email protected].

Please be reminded that the circumstances, in which the decision was made is one of mutual respect and trust. Thus this decision shouldn’t be seen as reflective of my performance, which the Company remains its high opinion of.

Meanwhile, I maintain high confidence in HaoBTC as a company: The team is highly professional and passionate about what they do. Their dedication to build a leading brand in the space is beyond any reasonable doubt. Wu Gang, the founding CEO, demonstrated great vision and leadership in steering the company to long-term success.

Best wishes to all of you.
Eric Mu

Thanks, Eric.  You've done a great job and are a huge reason for HaoBTC's success and popularity.  Your writing and pictures attracted many of us to the site, and my coin has been there ever since still earning interest.  Good luck to you in your next endeavor, and hopefully Tyler can fill your shoes, he's got a tough act to follow.

Well, I don't think it would be that tough, because I am not new to Bitcoin or HaoBTC. Actually, I am one of the earliest Bitcoiner in China and also one of the earliest member of HaoBTC - I worked here before it is called HaoBTC.
Anyway, thank you for support and hope we will be friends in the future.
I don't think he was saying you will do a bad job, just giving Eric credit for his work.   Smiley

Welcome, Tyler!

I know it's giving Eric credit, and I will give the same credit for his job. Smiley
I am just saying I am able to serve the community just as Eric did. Don't worry about Eric's transfer. BTW, thank you for the clarification!

Service seems to be promising as described in OP. But always investment with cryptocurrency may cause loss of equity, so be aware and always invest whatever can afford to lose.

Eric has set the standards for support and communication standards in how a bitcoin company should operate. Others should follow.

That is mainly because the HaoBTC is a genuine company. It is not a scam site like most of the other sites.
