This project is really interesting (great API) but has one big disadvantage - huge inflation. It will be hard to protect the price from falling down further with so many new coins generated everyday.

just tried a ccex withdrawal message said something along the lines of "automatic withdrawal failed - will be completed manually"

I've done 2 yesterday from ccex and both worked. Strange!

My ccex heat are from the initial ICO not sure if this is could be the reason for the manual withdrawal.

Is anyone else having issues with ico heat withdrawal from ccex? two 1000 heat test withdrawals yesterday failed no update from support overnight, now this morning my heat balance has returned to the pre x1.5 multiplier level.

so I receive this response from ccex in regard to the two failed 1000 heat withdrawals

Hello! Wallet responded with error message on attempt to create transaction. Usually this happening when there is an issue with blockchain, wallet has limitation on transaction size or amount of coins in one transaction. Your funds are back to Your balance. Have a good day! Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with. Thanks!

thats great however they completely ignored my last support message with the fact they have returned my balance to the pre x1.5 multiplier total.  Huh

EDIT : ok this was resolved by support x1.5 multiplier was re-applied to heat wallet. Made several heat withdrawals from ccex which went through in seconds.

Great to hear that the issue was solved.

You're right that the total forging balance matters. I meant that the probability looks normal to me taking into account the number of forgers after the recent upgrade.
I believe forging on a public node has a slight advantage than on a private node behind NAT like in Nxt, because a public node is connected to more peers and can propagate a generated block a few msec faster, orphaning competitor block. This should be more so in HEAT because HEAT has faster blocks and propagation speed is more important than in Nxt.
That could be the case, but I dont know enough about it to say for sure.

Its always hard when you have to try and seperate what an issue and what is just luck. Looking at my node, its been doing very poorly after the upgrade to 1.0.1, so of course I wonder if its luck or I have to tweak some settings. At least the community has made some pretty good tools to track forging and other network stats.

I'm giving it some time.  I'm not hitting as many blocks as I think I should, but I also picked up a few more than I should have in the few hours right before rewards kicked in.  If I count those pre-rewards blocks it would be correct.  Give it a few days to a week to see how it evens out.

For anyone not being able to come on the main fork (and start mining blocks) we've came up with a temporary solution (until

we get the new release out in the coming days).
We're offering a zipped version of the blockchain that you can download and place in your blockchain folder, the downloadable

chain is updated regularly.
After downloading make sure to set the following properties in a file that you need to create.

Create the file heatledger/conf/heat.properties, where heatledger is your main heat folder. In this file put the following

two lines:

heat.forceValidate=false
heat.forceScan=false

Now after deleting all the contents in the heatledger/blockchain folder and having replaced them with the files in the zip

you downloaded, you will get on the main fork after you start heat (bin/heatledger.bat on windows, bin/heatledger on

mac/linux).

https://heatwallet.com/download/blockchain.zip (the file is just 8MB but it will unpack to approx 2.5GB).

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

the zip is too far behind
yes but it is need of the hour that a power full speculative should be there for it.

i would advise you to contact ccex directly. Their support seemed very responsive to me last time i had issues.

I just received my first rewards Smiley
I need more luck
There is definitely something wrong with the forging probabilities with the 2 latest versions.

From my experience there are no changes, the same probability as last week.
I do think the probability of forging a block is a lot lower than last week due to the massively increased node count. A week ago the amount of HEAT forging was only a few million. Now we are around 11 million HEAT forging.

You can pretty easily track success via heatbrowser.com/report.html. What seems to be wrong?

Can someone explain to me why I didn't forge any block that I have been forging for more than 48 hours even before the rewards started?

{"deadline":2556,"hitTime":107530420}

{"numberOfPeers":60,"availableProcessors":1,"numberOfUnlockedAccounts":1

My account # is 11598877575733310574 and I have about 20,000 heat
Am I just basically no luck?
