We’re taking a different approach with our bounty program. To set Scorum apart from the numerous “pump-and-dump” ICO schemes that have come to the crypto market over the last few months, our bounty program is designed to attract end users to our project. We are committed to creating a sustainable, rewarding, and long-term community of sports fans worldwide.  

To that end, our bounty program has three facets. First, our Scorum Coins affiliate program will give a 5% reward to participants who share links that lead to purchases during the Scorum crowdsale (ex: someone follows your link to the crowdsale and purchases 1000 SCR, you will receive 50 SCR from our affiliate pool). Second, we’re creating a 100k Scorum Power token bounty program for Steemit users. This is designed to attract an audience that is familiar with the rewarding blogging platform that Scorum will establish. Steemit users who join this bounty will get equal shares of the 100k SP bounty with double rewards going to the first thousand participants that join Scorum.

Third, we’re incentivizing early adoption of our platform by offering 221k Scorum Power tokens as registration rewards for community members, with higher rewards for early registrants.

The timing for our launch is perfect because we'll have the commission-free betting exchange, zero-fee fantasy sports leagues, and blogging platform all rolled out just in time for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. This gives us a chance to market immediately to a huge and captivated audience immediately. Factoring that in, we're expecting 1 million users by the end of year one.

That is impeccable timing. Seems like around that time people get so excited, they're willing to try out new things as long as it's related to their passion of Soccer. So the more you pump into marketing at that time, the more people you have. How much do you plan to spend on marketing to get that 1m users?

Do you have any estimates when it comes to cost of customer acquisition?

We're expecting anywhere from 1-5 USD per customer. One of the great things about our project is that the writers that are there have a strong incentive to market their own articles and bring more readers into the platform in order to increase their rewards. So not only will we be working hard to bring in new users but established writers will actively pursue more traffic for their posts and the platform as a whole.

Thanks for your interest. Vlad's teammate Nikita Kucherov is also on board with Scorum. He's currently #6 on the all time goal scorers list for the Tampa Bay Lightning and was on the NHL All-Star team this year. Of course, if you're not big into hockey that name probably won't ring a bell either. Anyway, we're working on getting as many athletes involved as possible. Damn that's great. How are you guys getting all this publicity? I mean, obviously, it's a great project and well run, but you must have someone who knows someone with these publications, right?

I can only speak to this instance with the Merkle; we've been pinging and re-tweeting a selection of their better work for some time and they hit us up with this free feature. We're trying hard to build organic interest in the project and it looks like it's starting to pay off!

this is great for sports lovers like me, it's great to have projects like this can form their own information space in the sports field

That's interesting, I hadn't heard about this. What would you say is the biggest advantage of having a personal account manager?

We're using this approach for a few reasons. The main advantage is to ensure that major buyers of SCR tokens are guaranteed the best discount during the whitelist token sale. We've set aside 2 million SCR for whitelist participants, but the list is open to all applicants who purchase more than 1000 USD worth of SCR tokens. In theory, there could be more interested whitelist buyers than SCR available. So for large-scale buyers we're opening a private channel of communication through which they can make a deposit to guarantee their purchase amount will be available at the appropriate discount.

Another equally important reason for this is to establish and maintain trust and confidence between our team and the people that believe deeply enough in our project to purchase a large quantity of SCR tokens during the crowdsale. They're belief in the vision and the team is paramount to the ongoing success of Scorum as a whole so it is well worth putting time and a more personal effort into maintaining it.
