Community went into limbo. My guess is that a lot of people lost interest once all of the blocks were mined. I do believe that only transaction fees can be mined now. I think coins with a short mining period will hit this wall. No one seems to be ready for life after mining.

Maybe someone could pick up the pieces and start a new version? This coin did show a lot of promise back in the day. It was a top 10 with over $7 million cap. I am a bag holder and would love to see it make a comeback. Could a hard fork be used to create version 2 with, say, a 20+ year window to mine? Maybe bag holders could exchange old for new in some kind of 5 old for 1 new kind of deal?

Loving the looks of this! Will be taking part in this coin. Looks like it has a lot of potential! Mining them as we speak  Grin

I liked this coin too but doing a fanboy post as your first one smacks of bullshit.

What is the status of the development of this coin?  Is continued support for the Android Wallet required?
Yes, please continue to issue updates for the android wallet. Thank you.

Currently the android app is not working, at least on my phone because it is stuck in August despite having  two nodes connected.
Any idea why?

I don't know why, yet.  No one else has sent in any bug reports, perhaps it is limited to me alone.

Funny how you complain about the high fees while simultaneously complaining about how mining doesn't pay enough....
The fees are the only thing keeping the network running, and when you compare it dollar for dollar to any other crypto, it is quite a reasonable transaction fee.

cyberpinoy: the fees are also calculated by KB size added to the block. If you input a bunch of tiny transactions, it is going to cost you, because there is a limit on the KB size per block to prevent spam attacks and chain bloat. This isn't the client's fault, its yours for not being aware how it works. This is a fairly standard function for most coins, and it is a feature that keeps the network running. BTW I will play a little violin for your lost fractions of a penny tonight.

So I am going through the list of coins that the old CryptoRush hosted trying to determine which coins are dead and which are still functioning so we can list them again/repay old users their coins. From the looks of it this coin is still around, but I have to agree those fees are insane. If this is the case we will not be hosting it and will have to add it to our debt. There is no way we could charge these crazy withdrawal fees to our customers after everything they have already been through.

I do understand how fees are in place to avoid small transactions and blockchain spam, however charging a fee of 6,800 coins for a transaction of 9,744 coins is ridiculous no matter how you attempt to explain it.
Actually its not if you examine the actual dollar value of the transfer. If it is too cheap then it is easy to spam the chain inexpensively.

Agree
If you put the time needed to mine 5k,it is a lot of money...
Time is money
Mining other for now.

This coin does not have infinite possibilities it has one-------> FAILURE if the devs dont fix these fees. No one will mine a coin that pays only 1/3 of the power we mine on it. SO unless you have an infinatecoinwalmart.com and powerandelectricforinfinitecoinminers.com, infinitecoinrent.com, infinitecoinwaterandsewer.com this coin = FAILURE

If this is the case this coin does not have infinite possibilities except 1 FAILURE hahahaha

Oh it's not the huge programming errors that's the problem.  The problem is, what programmer in their right mind EVER releases an update or ANYTHING without running it first?

I simply can't imagine it, but there it is.

Time for a career at Diebold.
