Instead of buying 2 460, better buy 1 more powerful card

It's a new version:

https://github.com/fireice-uk/xmr-stak/releases

1060s at ~80% power and a very mild OC can pull ~475 or so.

Granted... it's not RX470/480/570/580 good... but it's not a BAD value if you got a good deal on the 1060s. Also... power draw is quite low.

The majority of my 1060s I paid 189-199 for so I consider the value to be acceptable... as most of my RX series cost over 200 per unit... other than my first 20 units for 189 back in March 2017.

Frankly, though, I want to acquire as many ITNS as I can so I am moving ALL of my nVidia cards over at least for a month or two.
What's good about amd is the ability to flash timings in a bios video card. Up to 30%.
For nvideo this is not possible. I sold my 1050ti, I bought two and ordered two more RX460.
I read the topic, people overclocked RX550 to 500 hashes (2GB by Gigabytes, 2fan, hunix memory)

Guys, I know AMD is the way to go with mining intense coin. I have 2 rx580's, 2 rx570's and 6 vega 64's being shipped to my house soon. I am running a couple of nvidia rigs now and wanted to get started with mining intense. I know they aren't as effective but is it still possible to mine intense with them? I am getting all of my shares rejected using ccminer. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. #newbproblems

It is possible for sure just not as good.  I haven't used ccminer ... have to nvidia cards..  But there are much better algo's to mine with those nvidia cards,  I would mine something different with those.   Zclassic?  PascalLite(PASL),  i don't know what else but there are some hidden gems too....

1060s at the right price are not a terrible value for ITNS... by right price I mean like $189 or so (circa Black Friday).

The new "all in one" XMR-STAK works very well on NVidia (heck it does good on AMD too). Also does CPU at  the same time in one program.

But yah AMD cards rock for ITNS.

Oh?  What kind of speeds can a 1060 pull with XMR-STAK?  I've only tried other miners and wasn't even aware that xmr-stak worked with nvidia cards...  Is it faster than the other currently available public miners?

I only have one AMD gpu but I found Claymore + cryptonote cpu miner faster than XMR STAK.

Really?  I have 6 different amd gpu and stak is faster with all of them.   Just need to change the threads available to the gpu in stak to get an increase!  I get on average 820h/s with stak and 680h/s with claymore.   There are lots of guides to help you increase the hashrate

The distributed VPN block is flying to the moon on the moon by INTENSE COIN, and MYST has been laid down by Bittrex, and it has suffered a great deal of interest.

I think you are wrong. It's not a big deal to get off by Bittrex. The MYST project itself is developing very well. There will be a great product coming out in 2018, and its price will still go to the moon. Wink

Yes, I think the huge market for distributed VPN will be driven by MYST and INTENSE together, bringing some of the great products that people really need. Smiley

Is MYST to be considered a direct competitor or is the product they develop more of a complementary nature? When will INTENSE go live and when can it be used reliably on a daily basis?

Why not just mine more profitable coins with nvidia cards, and then exchange those to ITNS? If you really want to "acquire as many ITNS as you can" then that would surely be a better approach. Nvidias are wasted on cryptonight.

One day people will figure this concept out, but for now it baffles me that so many don't.

Don't even bother putting your Nvidia's to use with cryptonote coins. You'll be hashing away at levels slightly better than lowly RX 550s/560s, and old R9 280s will put you to shame. The name of the game is profits, not mining what coins you take a liking to.

Do any other pools have the "per worker" stats like updated Hash Vault ?

I have been on Official Pool most of the time since August... but the new HV stats are too awesome to pass up.

What I don't like about Hashvault is that their dashboard constantly shows lower hashrate than I see in my miners. Other pools don't do that. Sending 20 KH/s to the pool, and over 24 hours running it says I'm at ~ 17 KH/s. And it's like this all the time, been mining on and off there for quite a while. Not sure whether it affects actual earnings, but still I don't have this problem with any other pool I've tried.

Have u tried to contact TradeSatoshi exchange? As i know listing here is not very expensive comparing to large exchanges - 0.75 btc   (0.8 btc with 7 days promo on the site header)

Maybe it's time to start donation company for listing on new exchanges, TradeSatoshi (or similar small exchanges) would be great to start promoting ITNS later with growing community it will be easier to hit major exchanges.

Not "every wallet", most wallets nowadays actually don't have it. It's only present for some coins that are more or less "cpu-friendly", cryptonight etc. The vast majority of altcoins don't have this feature in the wallets.
I talked about every wallet from the quoted download link for Intense Coin:
Quote
https://intensecoin.com/#download — any wallet from this page is just a wallet and doesn't do any mining.

I said nothing about other coins.

Not a GPU, but every wallet is able to mine. There is a "Start mining" button, pressing that it will CPU-mine.

I've never even seen wallets that do GPU mining, where did you find one?  Smiley
