Hi all,

i am very satisfied with KRAKEN. Tutorials are well written, design of the platform is easy to understand and as I see I can connect my account with Cryptowatch.
To make it even better you have to strengthen your support team. I know you work around the clock but in the world (crypto currencies) where everything is happening so quickly we can't wait for your response over one week or even two.
I have ticket number 239481. I transfered some XRP from my Bitstamp account to my KRAKEN account without destination tag (how was that even possible). Now my XRPs are in your main wallet I assume, and I would really appreciate if you could transfer it into my account so I can resume trading on your platform.

Best regards,

Damirko

I seem to run into an issue accessing my account and it is showing my account is temporarily disabled due to to many login attempts. I contacted customer support and was issued ticket #244594. I recently activated the two-factor authorization login and my password does not seem to be work. I attempted to reset my password but I am having trouble decryption the email that was sent for the reset. The response I received makes me wonder if the problem i am having was understood correctly. Is there currently an issue with the 2 step verification? How do I get my account re-enabled?

Thanks
M

It's the difference between your time zone and UTC. So you can always convert the time to UTC.
Aaah ok, I didn't image it was such a stupid thing haha, thank you!

I just opened an account on Kraken and I don't understand one thing, maybe it's a stupid question: I closed an order and, besides the date, there also is a "+0200", what does it mean? Example: 05-04-17 11:58:01 +0200  Huh

I'm gonna take a wild guess you're from Europe and are used to the CET time zone. Right now CET is UTC+2 (daylight savings) and in October it switches back to UTC+1.

That's it.

Hi everyone, I received some tainted coins from Kraken last week (29% taint) and I was wondering what Kraken's policy against tainted coins is. Is this allowed or does it pose a problem to the account holder? If yes, what are the consequences?

I'm really interested in this, since I'm buying Bitcoins locally for a small 3% fee then sell them on Kraken. Would I get in trouble if I exchange tainted BTC there?

May I request someone from Kraken support to reply to my question, please? It's very important to me.

@Dargo

What has specifically been done in the last few weeks at Kraken HQ, to address your failed/failing support system?

The "failed/failing" characterization isn't very accurate because it makes it sound like support isn't working at all when in fact support is helping many thousands of clients every week. But we still have a backlog of tickets that is causing unacceptable delays for many clients - we are addressing this issue by hiring more support staff, improving operational efficiency, and reducing pain points so that fewer tickets are created in the first place. But it's not a magic quick fix. It takes time and we continue to grow at a very fast pace, making it take even longer to get caught up.
Thats alot of people that need 'helping'.  Huh
So help this individual understand why you dish out Kraken tokens for orders that dont get triggered? I ask, because that support you say is working, has never acknowledged or explained what went wrong, or why i cant have my $84 that i lost because of the known bugs in your engine.
So i ask for 3rd time....... why cant i have the funds your engine took from me, back? Why am i forced to use your Kraken shitcoin tokens instead?

There is something fishy going on with Kraken. They initiate trading in a lot of shitty coins while bitcoin exchange rate is lagging substantially behind average market. Recently while I try to buy bitcoins at those undervalued prices my order is accepted, market goes even below my order rate for couple of minutes but order stays untouched. It is only after rate jumps when my order appears on the order list. This is called "front running" and is the nastiest possible way of an exchange to rob their customers. Please, investigate who is the insider that is doing that or you'll be out of business soon!

Nobody has the ability to block your order from getting executed if there are orders to match it with and no orders ahead of yours at the same price. Please create a support request about the behavior you describe above, if you haven't already, so we can look into it. You can post the ticket number here or send it to me by PM.

I've placed a limit buy order. It appeared on my order list. Rate moved way below my buy level and stayed there for more than 3 minutes. My order remained untouched on order list. Rate moved back again and it was only then order appeared on the exchange order book.

I don't want to just describe what I'm observing because I know what will be support response. How do I document that behavior and present proof to your support? What is the maximum possible delay for an order that is accepted and listed on order tab to be placed on order book?

I think the easiest thing is to just include the order ID for the order(s) in question so we can see where the buy limit was set. Then include a screenshot of the market chart showing trade execution below that level before the order was cancelled. If no trades executed below that level, then it's harder to tell if the order would have executed or not if it had appeared on the order book sooner.

It can happen, and happend already quite alot to me, that an order i placed had delay of 10 to 60 seconds.
But this is not always the case, only very rarely, but then this issue lasting ~one hour or so (in that hour 50% of orders are delayed for few seconds).

I was able to prove this, because my limit price was quite high, so it was filled for sure (but with delay).
And in the order history I was able to prove it with "open" and "close" time plus the time of the trades belonging to the order.

They dont need the proof, as they/Dargo already knows about orders not triggering/activating.

Fortunately, i hear Kraken is releasing a whole new engine soon. Welcome to 2017, Kraken  Roll Eyes
