kraken need to add more coins!

Hey

I have a question precisely on this topic:
Does Kraken have a way to suggest a new cryptocurrency like the New Coin Request at Poloniex?
I would be really interested but could not find anything about it on Kraken.

Basically they operate like this (sorry Dargo, but it' totally true):

1. You make a recommendation with solid arguments.
2. They say no.
3. You ask why.
4. They give you a seriously weak counter argument. Examples: "We a focusing on other things right now", "We don't feel it's necessary right now", etc...
5. Some time goes by...
6. Then one of two things happen:
    a: nothing
b: they add the feature you requested bragging about how they came up with it on their own.

Examples (that I personally suggested a long time ago (2014) and was promptly dismissed):
- flipping the BTC/LTC pair to LTC/BTC (like every other exchange had, and now Kraken also)
- maker/taker fee structure

Recently Dash. People were requesting it like crazy, but Kraken said no. Then out of the blue they add it saying on their blog: "You know what, we just decided to add Dash. We think it's a cool thing. The developers are really happy about it. Here's what they have to say....".

It's a long time now Kraken is overloaded with support tickets. They really need to hire more workers or the huge amount of tickets will lead Kraken having the same shit support than coinbase. They surely have better priorities but support can not avoided at any cost. It make me hope i will never need any support in kraken

Kraken I am having problems too.  2 weeks and still no reply from Kraken support and my requested funds nowhere to be seen.

Could you please escalate request #260399 ASAP?  Thank you for your kind assistance.

I am very frustrated.  I love Kraken but this is pushing me away.

Yes I am having the same thing. I have submitted all documents and contacted support twice without any movement/answers. It has been ~ 1 1/2 weeks.

Update after checking email again.

I did get this on the 11th:

Code:
Hi,

We have seen a huge wave of incoming support requests and it is currently taking us several days to respond.
We want to apologize for the slow service and to let you know that we are working around the clock to ensure everyone receives a response as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience.

Accidentally locked my account, by clicking that darn link on the e-mail for approving a withdrawal address, and now it's been a week and support hasn't responded yet  Angry

I even reset the password and everything, still locked. Any advice? Is a week long enough to wait?

Sorry to hear that. It appears that Kraken has been having problems lately especially when their site encountered some nasty DDOS attacks (happened few days ago). I'm thinking that because of that, their support team has been swamped by many tickets and maybe, this is the reason they haven't gone back to after a week of waiting. You can send a PM to Dargo about your concern and he should be able to help you about it. Good luck on your ticket.

Hi, I hope it`s a good place to post this question.

I'm wondering if it is possible to add a Trailing Stop order for an already existing long position? I have no problem with creating trailing stop loss when creating a new position, but is it possible to add it after a position is open? Or for example if I would like to change the trailing stop value after at any moment (seems to be the same thing, in that case I just should close the “sell/trailing-stop” order and create a new one if I'm thinking wright?)

Never used this kind of solution on any exchange, but from what I have read it should be possible… However if I'm trying to open a opposite order - "Sell" with Trailing Stop it is possible to add only + offset, which is logical for short position and make sense of course, but how then to add trailing stop to long a long position (the one which was opened before?)

Could someone please explain this? I was struggling opening different types of orders on small amounts to test it, but I can’t make it work...

I also wondered what it means, but comparing it to Ripple has a "R" it should mean that * is a sign for xlm  Cheesy

Thanks - yes, looks like we are using '*' as the currency symbol for xlm, which I didn't know.
