I have been waiting to use your exchange for a few weeks now, any ETA on your upgrade yet?

This is just a guestimate, but it's way better than anything the geniuses behind 'the best bitcoin exchange' have been able to say:

Hi Bribed and der_meister. The Error 520 is a connectivity issue. Our developers are working towards a solution, but as of right now this can still happen intermittently.

The issue where you see that you need a higher Tier in order to deposit/withdraw is actually a trading engine issue. We were launching the trading engine on the 6th but ran into some obstacles. You can read more about this here. For the time being, we would suggest waiting a moment and refreshing the page.


Hi there again, just wanted to let you know that everything worked out fine now. I could withdraw to my bank account. Only thing that still wasnt correct was the possible amount to withdraw. As Im verified at tier 3, the daily withdrawal limit should be $25,000 but instead it would only let me withdraw 331€. Is there a reason for that? I will try again tomorrow and see how much it will be then. Could you by chance also tell me how long it usually takes to process a withdrawal? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the answer! So normally it should work as I understand. I tried to refresh the page several times already but always got the same situation. I logged off for now and have to go anyways. Will try it again tonight. Hopefully it will work out then!

Now after retrying, the page doesnt show "service temporarily unavailible" anymore, now it says that my verification level isnt enough. Although Im verified on tier 3, and for the amount I want to withdraw I would only need tier 2 anyways. Dont know what to do here.

withdraw anything!



Good to read that Im not the only one in this situation. Did it at first also showed up as "service unavailible" for you? I hope that we will get an answer from the team here!
Actually this is the first time that I wanted to withdraw something from an exchange. Hope that I wont be disappointed in the end.

Hi AlexanderDumas. I'm sorry to hear about the issue. Were you receiving an error message when trying to fund your account? Usually you just generate a cryptocurrency address and send funds to it. Were you unable to generate one for one reason or another?

Can you believe the feeling you would have, if you are holding few hundreds Ks in that place?
Even if you look at their basic Wordpress site.... 40$ template job. The trading interface looks like a joke.
I wanted to work with them because the carry Ripple, but after I have seen they had it at Bitfinex, that was a no brainer.


Did you ever get a response? If not, I'd suggest escalating your ticket using this form.


If you want to cash out Euro or USD for a low fee, just send LTC or ETH to Coinbase, exchange them to USD or EUR for a low fee and wire them to your bank for less tha 2.50 $, Euro SEPA wires are 57 cents...
Really a no brainer.


Our SEPA withdrawals are €0.09.

This seems to be a major problem for Kraken because after 10 days I'm not able to get in my account! I already used the escalation procedure to speed things up, TWICE, but I'm under a pile of 1000 other requests I guess. Why cant't they give priority to people who can't enter their existing account and face loosing their money? I've got 4500€ in there! When can I access it Huh I'm freaking out if I get another message to escalate my ticket once again!

HI, Im not able to access Kraken anymore for some reason. Always shows "error 520". Is this due to heavily overloaded servers? Was wondering if someone else is experiencing the same issue. As I still have a lot of fiat there that I want to make use of now, this is kind of worrysome.
By the way, great to see that the kraken team is active here on the forum and helping people with their issues. Keep it up!

EDIT: I now managed to log into my account!

But when trying to withdraw some of my Euros to my bank account it says that the service is temporarily unavailible. Can you tell me whats the reason for that? Its kind of worrysome as I always thought of Kraken as one of the exchanges where this service works.
Im verified and all by the way.

Have the same problem here: locked out of my account after clicking a link to confirm new withdrawal address. I answered the email with the 7 questions and made a support evaluation request to speed up things... nothing happened yet! I'm getting more and more frustated about their lack of communication.. I want to get on with my trading and Kraken is my online fiat line to my bank account. I don't want to loose my money..

If the transfer does not show and the other transfer not relesed from being onhold by middle of this week i will be forced to contact my bank to reverse the deposit.

I really really dont want to have to do this however the lack of support for such matters is deeply concerning. This is peoples money you are playing with and you shouldnt be taking liberties with it. Karaken should not be letting people register if they cannot administer the accounts. Other exchanges have been doing so and atleast you know where you stand with them .

6/1/2018 announcement of the update.... postponed to 7/1..........
7/1/2018 announcement of the update... postponed to no date....

All this time (August 2017) to today:
Kraken has communicated very little,
has left open registrations degrading the quality of service until it becomes unusable....
Blocked account checks, leaving people registering but without checking in the inability to use the kraken service...
Did not warn users of marging trading nor closed this feature due to their degradation of service and therefore the consequent increase in risk implied by their fault....

so, from august 2017 kraken sell service they know they can"t serve
